So, I’ve been thinking recently. Mars, Mercury, Io, and Titan all had something important. Mars had the Warmind, Mercury had the Infinite Forest, Io had retained some of the Travelers light and had the Tree of Silver Wings, and Titan had so much lost Golden Age tech. The Darkness targeted these places, possibly, for these things. But why is my question.

2 RepliesWe still go to IO in the crucible

2 RepliesHoly crap! Don't overthink it. All the places we've been - have got that something... Bungie just vaulted them. Period. No tie-ins, conspiracies, no nothing.
-
Don't worry, they'll be sold back to us in pieces eventually. Darkness didn't have a say in what planet goes or when... Were we even told how they went or was it just "they're gone now"? Can't remember or care that much.
-
Well in reality (not lore) they were removed due to lack of players. If titan had more to do on it and had more activity then it may have stayed same for IO and the other planets If nessus or the EDZ where the least visited im sure something would have happened to those places

6 RepliesEdited by hyperpool: 12/2/2020 8:01:08 PMthey removed them so Free to play players don't really get anything to play now. more Bungie turning the screw on players. same reason they reduced the bright dust earned by bounties. claiming players would still get the same amount. but each week we lose 1500 plus bright dust compared to last season. yes we got more in the season pass. but no way enough to cover the lost every week. one word greed. you wait when they boosting about making 100s of millions profit next year.

Bungie wants to sell us dlc we already paid for.

2 RepliesI think it might be a software thing. They needed to break it apart so they could fix and reorganize the structure within the code. I think that makes things run more efficiently, hence why load times are ridiculously better.
-
I think bungie will bring all them planets back but the lands will be changed by the darkness. Just think of all that reusable content just sitting there lol.
-
3 RepliesSo they can be recycled and re-sold back in later seasons.
-
Because they clogged server space #bungieisasmallindieteam

2 RepliesIf Titan is gone how come I can still crucible there?
-
So they can sell you them again in the Witch Queen and whatever the last expansion is before they Peace Out.
-
So when they rerelease all your old subclasses they can charge you.... again

12 Replies<Most places listed here were touched by the Light. Since their disappearances, there are ZERO places touched by the Light. The Dreaming City is built of a wish, the Tangled Shore is a bunch of rocks sort of affected by the reawakening of the Traveler, Earth and the Moon are untouched, Europa is a Darkness zone, and Nessus was terraformed solely by the Vex. Mercury, Mars, and Io all had grounds to be taken by the Darkness as they were terraformed by the Light. Titan, on the other hand, feels like a tactical move. No Light, but it was home to a secondary military outpost thanks to the Red War. Without it, we're restricted to Earth. They're eliminating ground.>
