Is there a way to merge accounts?
I played D2 when it first launched through the Battle.net launcher. I stopped playing for a long while, and then I got it for free on steam about a year ago and played on a new account on steam.
I want to get into it again and am thinking of getting Beyond Light but I read that a lot of content/exotics are getting vaulted. Is there a way for me to merge my Battle.net and Steam accounts so that I can keep all the different items I have managed to get?

If you have not migrated your info from Blizzard, you can transfer your characters and account data to Steam until the end of November. However, this would overwrite any progress you currently have on your Steam account. Your old blizzard characters would take the place of your current ones. If you would still like to transfer your Battle.net characters (and lose your current Steam ones) you can begin the migration process at the following page: https://www.bungie.net/7/en/PCMove Edit: Alternately, you could create a new Steam account and migrate your old characters there, so you don't lose them. Note that PC migration is a one-time process and once you move your characters they will be locked to that account and you will not be able to migrate them again.

Howdy! Sadly, I do not believe a Battlenet to Steam merge is possible any longer.
