All of us know that it will take 33 weeks to get all of the lore, while if you do it with the glitch, you narrow it to 18 weeks, aka 6 curse cycles.
However, Bungie recently said that Chronicler will be gone after Beyond Light, leaving us a mere 3 curse cycles, and anyone that started from 0, including me, won't get it in time.
Hence, I have a few suggestions that can make us to get it in time, without considering the glitch:
1. Make the lore drop from all three characters(that is still not enough, as this only has 9 lores in total) , and potentially make all weeks drop that? ie the week 1/2 chest will drop the lore item. This would make us get it, without major problems or diminish in title requirements
or 2. just delete the requirements of getting the 'truth to power' lore, like what bungie did with the dredgen title and the badge.
Both of these will just solve it completely fine
I will be glad if any changes is made to solve this :P
P. S. to my own knowledge, all the other items could still be obtained in time, with the tightest one being marasenna, but you still have >6 weeks to do them all, so not a problem FOR NOW.
thanks, and any comment will be appreciated.

1 ReplyProbably not a popular opinion but there was a two year period to get this title. I'm not in favor of watering down seals just for the sake of people who didn't want to put the work in.

Indeed, that problem needs to be resolved asap. Everyone who is willing to put much effort in this badge/title must have an ability to fulfill its requirements.

I hear the concern...and frankly the dlc drop date shifting to November saved me because at the rate I had stayed on top of the truth to power lore, i was gonna get the last entry the week after the September release date. But if they get rid of that lore book, after everyone has had to wait 33weeks at some point to get it? People would absolutely shit themselves. I get the desire to get it, but that wouldn’t be fair to literally anyone else who got it.

1 Replyhonestly since Dreaming City is staying, they should allow everyone to finish if that's all that remains Luckily I have finished truth to power and only need 5 bones and 7 eggs to finish Marasenna

2 RepliesI totally understand the concern. But it's a title that came out 2 years ago. I mean that's 2 years of time to be able to get it. I understand that there is new players coming to destiny 2 everyday but all titles has its flaws some times. If you can't get it you can't get it. It wouldn't be right to make a title that was in the game for 2 years to make it easily obtainable because it's going away. My opinion is to not get rid of the title. Since everything but forsaken is going away they should keep the title in the game. My opinion though. I already have chronicler but now when I think about it I think Wayfarer would be a better seal to go after since thst seal consists of planets that are going away and that you will probably be considered as a player who was around when those planets were in the game.

2 RepliesEdited by RicAlmighty: 9/9/2020 6:00:49 PMNothing needs to be "fixed" as nothing is broken. Content goes away in a live service game, that's life. Removing the Truth to Power book would be an absolute insult to the long time players who obtained the title legitimately. What message would Bungie be sending to them? No reason to ever grind for anything anymore; if you just whine enough, it will be handed to you.
