Mouse and keyboard on console
So can bungie make it to where if the game or console detects that it forces them to match up against other mouse and keyboard users? And if it can make it that they only face mouse and keyboard users

17 RepliesNo one is using mouse and keyboard on console in destiny. It is pointless, game is 30 fps with input delay you are better off on controller.

The whole m&k makes it easier for players arguement is flawed. Giving an average player m&k isn't going to make them a legend all of a sudden. Likewise, some of the best pvp players actually play controller on PC. I play controller on PC and have never felt like I was beat by m&k as opposed to just making a bad play or getting beat because they were better.

5 RepliesThis should absolutely be done. You want point and click advantage at a pc style play then that’s your player pool. Consoles should be joystick based because that’s how they are made to be played. Go flail you’re arms about to the others using mouse and keyboard.

2 RepliesVery bad idea. You are horribly misled about the effectiveness of mouse & KB on a console. It is not like it is on a PC. The mouse only can move as fast as a controller can (in game sensitivity) and the player can only move in 8 directions as opposed to a controller. If you actually saw one being used, you'd understand that they're not the way you think they are. Also, it's an accessibility issue for many people.

The problem is destiny 2 doesn’t pick up a mouse and keyboard on console unless you use and adapter which makes it register as a controller so it’s not detectable I think. Just ban them it’s cheatung

I think Bungie is working on cross play, which is what would allow what you're describing. Right now, they aren't quite there.
