Can We PLEASE Have The Option to do Strikes Solo?
I'm not even talking about the Playlist I just mean when you select them individually from the maps. I am so sick to death of trying to load for example the only damn Fallen strike in the game for the Fallen weekly vanguard bounty and it always loads you into a strike already underway, usually at the boss.
I mean come on. They are so easily done with one person. Heroic Strikes and Nightfalls I agree are supposed to be done in groups but the normal ones are so easy and I can do without the game making an already tedious bounty even more so by not letting me get the kills I need.
And what the hell is up with their only being one Fallen strike almost 4 years into the game?! Seriously?! Yes they can appear in other strikes but it is completely random. Having to do the worst strike in the game every time I need Fallen kills is hardly incentivising.

I’ve said the same thing over and over since destiny 1. Bungie likes to just aggravate the living hell out of its players. Give you a quest to do in strikes and watch the randoms kill everything in sight before you can get a shot off. Heaven forbid you want to just run some solo strikes to waste time or complete some quests. It would be so simple to add this in the game, and many players have asked for it, but it never evens gets brought up by bungie to tell us why they won’t let us run solo. It’s like they are afraid if you play a solo strike their hippie all the world holding hands spiel will collapse.

Insight Terminus Nessus - fallen, vex and cabal Pyramidion Io - vex and taken Hollowed Lair Tangled Shore - fallen, hive and cabal Edit. Forget to mention that scorn enemies are available in the hollowed lair but I guess that's kinda obvious anyway.

1 ReplyI prefer matchmaking on strikes but they can be speed run and it’s often a race to get as many kills so it becomes about who kills fastest as the rewards are so poor. But solo would be a more relaxed and you can control how you play more than solo nightfalls as they can take a long time on your own and some of the solo nightfalls are very very hard on your own. Solution would be to make strikes have better drop rewards and then they would be ok. I also wish there was matchmaking on raids but that will never happen.

You can load into legacy NF's solo and usually one of the 3 is in a destination that can be farmed for the bounties. Therefore, the solo argument is lacking, but I understand the frustration. Also, Lake of Shadows loads you into the EDZ public area with Fallen that can be farmed as well. Most people cannot do strikes solo, not much can be done there. Most strikes don't load you in at the boss, but it does happen every so often and I get frustrated there as well.

Actually you can I solo strikes every week you can do date glitch on console don’t know about pc you just set date back a week or so

Can We PLEASE Have The Option to do Strikes Solo? That's a good question, lets take a look at it. No are you crazy, Brothers don't shake, Brothers hug... oops wrong question, let me re-read that one again. What, no are you crazy, then we'd be able to get weeklies done in just one strike instead of having to fight other guardians to get it done. That's crazy, silly Guardian.

If the strike you want to play is available as a nightfall, that’s your option to solo. I did this two weeks ago when the Exodus Crash nightfall was available on the playlist and I needed Fallen kills for the Vanguard bounty. Don’t have to complete the nightfall, stay until you get the kills.

Just load a challenge card nightfall. You go in solo on your nightfall of choice (well you can pick one of three) but bam no matchmaking, no pressure, just fart around and get all your bounties and quests done ez.

Seriously, I agree, expecially when the players you are with rush like madmen while you are just trying to get kills, or they constantly steal your kills. I almost think there should be 2 categories of players, friendly and helpful, or egocentric and boastful.

Yeah I hate it. And its not like I dont like to play with other players, but Bungie try hard to make regular strikes unejoyable with other players. You allways have to run like crazy competing for kills with certain weapons and etc. And you know, I kinda dont like to speedrun stuff... Yes its weird, but I dont want to walk through it like for 15 mins. I want to enjoy the action and nice locations. But nooo...go plays with those monkeys who farm some useless shit for actual no reason and grinding these strikes like they get paid for each one... Thats not the reason I love games.

4 RepliesYou should have bought a PS4! Lake of shadows is the way I clear about 20 bounties in a few minutes! I land, add earth bounties to the list I already have in inventory including nightmare ones, then trostland event or war or lost sector, complete fallen kills and all banshee bounties in a blink, then kill all taken completing other bounties, kill taken boss. Then continue same on Mars, no one to steal my kills on the protocole, advancing on some catalyst as well, then same on whatever destination needed. I make my own optional matchmaking! In fact this is the only way I am willing to complete those boring bounties! Now I’m past 1050, and I get shit zillionuplicate energy weapons claiming pinnacles so I don’t even do them anymore. Back to having fun playing 1080 15 levels under or some pvp. I shit on the rest.

6 RepliesHow do you not know this answer already? Manually set your date back a month in settings. Then travel anywhere other than where you want to go, then travel to the strike of your choice. Matchmaking will not work and you will be all alone to play as you desire. This works for the strike playlist or choosing a strike directly from the map. I still AFK Forges (10 times) just to finish clan XP and get the pinnacle reward from Hawthorne.

Been asking for this since D1. They've already proven they can do it, but for whatever reason won't. Classic bungie. Disable or change things people enjoy, and refuse to add anything enjoyable or helpful for the players.

Another thing we've been asking for since D1, they won't do it because it would allow you to do bounties quicker. And Bungie hate it when you do things quickly.

Or better yet..... Get rid of all the dumbazz moronic bounties in this dumpster fire game. Destiny: Bounty Hunter. Bounties are a joke and mind numbing boring.
