Had an issue but it’s working now

Starting early this morning around 12am I tried to sign on to Destiny 2. I can’t remember if I downloaded an update or not. I think I did. I get to title screen and press A (Xbox One X) it then goes to the white connecting screen and just sits there forever. I don’t get any error codes. I’ve quit and restarted the game about 10 times now. I’ve checked for updates, none are available. I’ve shut off my Xbox and restarted twice. Same problem. I did a hard reset in my Xbox, same problem. I went to bed and tried again around 10:55am same day. Same problem. I just deleted Destiny 2 and reinstalled it. Booted it up again, again, same problem. Again, I check for updates, there isn’t any. Bungie hasn't made any announcements of server issues or servers being down. And I know that some people aren’t haven’t any issues. But I also know I’m not alone and many of my friends are having the same exact problem. I’d like to play this game I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on since launch. At the very least, I’d like to be told that it’s being looked into. Thanks. Is anyone else having this problem as of 06/20/20? !!!!! ************* UPDATE ************ !!!!!!! As of 4pm EST, 16 hours after the problem started Destiny 2 is working again for me. I believe the problem must have been with one of the DLCs. Probably the most recent one, Shadow Keep. The one that was most recently updated. Earlier I had deleted Destiny 2 the main game and reinstalled it (so you can’t say I didn’t download the update. As the update would have popped up once the game loaded for the first time) and it still didn’t work. So this time I deleted EVERYTHING, including all my DLCs and add-ons. Once I reinstalled everything (hours later) and started Destiny 2 again it worked. I’m able to log in to the game. So the problem had to be one of the DLCs. Again, most likely it was Shadowkeep since that’s the only one that received an update recently. It’s possible that either: A.) The there was something wrong with the update itself and it didn’t work or B.) When the update was installed originally, something happened and it got corrupted. Maybe my internet cut out or it didn’t finish loading. My software logged it as successfully installed but it wasn’t complete. !!!!! ************* UPDATE ************ !!!!!!!
