max power level without any dlc
i've gotten back into destiny because i haven't played in years and wanted to try it again. ive been enjoying it but i've noticed that my armor and weapons aren't going above 950 power. so my question is, what is the highest power level in destiny 2 without any dlc?

The current release of Destiny 2 does not power cap players based off DLC owned. So if you only have the free to play version of the game then you can get to the max power of 1010 that is the same cap for all players. With that said, getting to the power cap is easier if you do own Shadowkeep since several powerful reward sources are linked to the DLC. So its not necessary, but it makes the progression go a little faster.

Im pretty sure 1010 is still max you can obtain. From 950-1000, only activities that provide a powerful or pinnacle reward will be higher. From 1000-1010, only pinnacles will be higher.

I think the hard cap is at lvl 1010?
