Swashbuckler or Rampage?

What has the potential of reaching a higher dps at max power: swashbuckler or rampage? I dont fully understand swashbuckler or its potential and I've heard rampage isn't as powerful as it used to be.

  • Honestly I feel like swashbuckled is better (IF) you are like a shoulder charge Titan or are good with any melee kills easy and early into a gunfight and is overall better within PvE but in crucible Rampage scales faster if you rely on gunfights more often than melee kills, it relies on playstyle and map for me

  • Both need to be removed along with all other damage increasing perks😎😎😎 But as of right now I prefer Swashbuckler because 1 melee gets me a full stack.

    • Swashbuckler has a higher dps at 5 stacks than Rampage at 3 stacks. The tradeoff is that Swash requires you to either get 5 kills or get a melee kill to get those 5 stacks. For pve and pvp, it depends. I believe Swash is better on Titans because they're much better at getting melee kills, while I feel Rampage is better for Hunters because it is much more consistent. You could honestly do either for Warlocks. Karnstein Armlets and Swash could be a fun loadout in pve. Cheers.
