Transferring Destiny 2 characters from one steam account to another via cross-save
I was wondering if it was possible to migrate my characters and progress from one steam account to another account, because my current account is unable to make purchases from the Steam store due to account restrictions. I wanted to buy the new expansions, but this isn't possible on my current account. Steam support has no way of lifting the account restriction, so this is the only viable method for me.

Multiple IDs from the same platform also cannot be used, so you can't link two Steam IDs to your Bungie.net profile to even try it. Cross-Save cannot be used to move characters from one account to another directly (it doesn't move your save data, it just allows you to load it on a different platform, it's still the main ID's save data). Your save data is tied to the Steam ID it was created on, and it cannot be moved to a different Steam ID. Unfortunately, if you wish to play on another Steam ID than the one your characters are on, you'll have to start fresh.
