So, why exactly is there little to no troika on PC but console has to suffer with it?
And please don't give me that lame answer where you say, " it's out of our control it's just the difference between the two systems and we have no way of fixing it."
Year one, there is very little recoil on guns. It wasn't until you two were you guys decided to change the recoil on guns making some guns unplayable when just being General jackasses to the community at Large. Then you introduced PC and everything changed because they have little to no recoil on their guns while here we are on Console suffering with a poor decision that you guys made in year 2.
Please just eliminate or greatly reduce the recoil so that we can have the year one versions which will be more comparable to PC. There should not be a difference between the two platforms.

I watched a review of Sunshot, which has horrible recoil on console. This guy was raving about it and I saw that the recoil was minimal on pc. He could use it in pvp, but on Xbox it’s not that good, so he has an amazing pvp exotic and I’ve got a gun that aims for the sky after every shot. Thanks Bungle.

2 RepliesIt's a combination of things; FOV, FPS, the precision of a mouse over controller? It's not really that big of a deal though and high comp pc players actually complain that people use controllers on pc lol. I play controller on pc and it's just a better version of the same thing console has - looks better I mean. It'll be interesting to see this game on the next generation of consoles.

4 RepliesBecause if console recoil was on PC you would constantly have to pick up and pull down the mouse

1 Reply"Losing control of your gun feels good." Actual quote from I believe Luke Smith. Yes, that is legitimately the reason they gave when asked why controllers get more recoil.

1 ReplyThere is recoil on PC. You just don't notice it because a mouse is WAY more precise than a controller can ever hope to be.

3 RepliesEdited by Lord_Shar: 1/7/2020 5:22:41 PMI remember the reduced recoil being a design-team decision at Destiny2's early testing phase. When D2 was in its early PC testing phases, recoil was so high that the game felt clunky compared to other FPS games -- players were constantly running out of mouse pad after a few shots. Since D2 was designed with the PC platform as its new target, Bungie had to reduce recoil to keep the game more closely aligned to other PC FPS games.

1 ReplyI would love it if controller players didn’t have recoil either, it would be more interesting to use other weapons on console

Edited by Kiro - 13: 1/7/2020 8:27:15 PMThe recoil is present it is just far more controllable. If you are on a controller your movement and view pitch controller snap back into place when using them on the little thumb sticks. Same deal when you try and compensate for recoil, you are trying to compensate the view pitch controller for the gun bouncing. A mouse is dead still and does not want to snap back to center. You can also have a very high DPI mouse so a very minor movement is needed to adjust for recoil. Edit:I know its not what you are asking, but their was a bug where handcannons ignored recoil on PC. They fixed it before shadow keep. 180+ RPM handcannons were firing faster then the recoil animation. So the second and 3rd shot were often not effected by recoil because the gun would shoot faster then the recoil animation.

Different Input method, and its a port of the game, not made by bungie.

Different input methods obviously.

Haven’t you seen South Park? It’s because of the PC Babies.

7 RepliesIt’s just field of view and mouse and keyboard. If you use a controller on PC with the same visual settings as console then it’s the same.

Very bad take
