So i'm probably going to get shunned for even thinking of this BUT let me explain how this could actually be good for Destiny as a game and the new Hunter Vanguard. Lore wise: Now as you know Destiny 2 is missing a new Hunter Vanguard. This spot will probably be filled by the newly resurrected Uldren Sov/The Crow. Now to get to the point. Hunter's love to travel across the system Cayde is an example of what happens when you don't let a Hunter explore the world, he will disobey orders and do it anyway. Now my point here is if Uldren Sov is the New Hunter Vanguard. He will also want to travel and maybe explore his past, and the best way for that to happen would be if we made him a Battle Royale Vendor. Now this Battle Royale would have maps all over the Solar System and our pal Uldren would be fighting all over those places, you would find his vendor all over the Solar System depending on the Weekly rotation. Destiny 2 budget Wise: As we all know Destiny is currently on a budget, and Battle Royale mod's are becoming extremely popular and if Destiny made one their budget could be on the rise and we would get more quality of life content! Why Battle Royale already seems like an easy input: -Finishers(Chance to preform Finishers on Guardians!) -Rare/Legendary Guns as Pick ups in the Battle Royale Mod. -Exotic Armor/Weapon's from Random Capsule drops like Apex Legends. -Random Ultimate Charge pick ups that you would have to search for!(Tribute Hall has a Ultimate charge Generator.) Finishers since risky would generate ultimate charge by like 10-20% -Solar System Planets as Battle Arena's. -Zombie Mode? Like Apex Zombie Halloween Event(Where instead you would play as a Hive Thrall!) and if you killed like 2 guardians u transform into a Hive Knight(You can already wield a Hive Knight Sword in menagerie for example so this would only require a model/animation change) Now, now i get that i'm stretching this whole idea. It doesn't have to happen. I myself do not play Fortnite but i did play a little bit of Apex(No longer do). Just thought cause Apex Legends was so fun for a little while how cool this would be if it was a Destiny 2 Mod along side Crucible/Gambit/Strikes. I encourage you to think about this in terms of Lore/Budget, and for veteran players that find grinding the same 3 mods boring already this could be a breath of fresh air!
