I am a guardian that is a bit of a hoarder. I was one of the people that kept Eris’ celery in D1 and have kept some of the dawning cookies from the Christmas event this past year. I currently have a total of 722 raid banners in my inventory because whenever I have an excess about of legendary shards, I like to buy raid banners. However, I can’t put any of them in the vault like other items in my inventory. This leaves me with 8 spaces of my consumables screen taken up by just raid banners. A change to store them in the vault would be greatly appreciated, as, at this point, the only other solution is to delete them, which isn’t exactly the most ideal solution.
We can store planet materials in the vault, and a whole bunch of other stuff . So why not raid banners?

They are strange with certain items. I can’t place my FWC tokens in the vault. I can put my ghost fragments in the vault but I can’t get more, and they’re shared by account. The EP fragments are character specific, no vault. Even the 7 ramen coupons can go in, so I don’t see why banners can’t. I don’t constantly use them and only ever had 100 at all times

2 RepliesEdited by ToRni27: 10/21/2019 2:06:36 PMUse them instead of letting others pay for banners everytime. Looks like that you don't spend any banners on any activity but your teammates have to do it for you.

Sounds like a personal problem, you’re the type of perso not ask for more vault space because they have 500 god roll dust rocks

Another sloppy game feature brought to you by Bungo.

Can i have some
-
Well.... That’s kinda a YOU problem...

722 raid banners is not a vault problem, that’s a you problem. Damn dude.

Those are rookie numbers!!

Question, How can you have an excess of shards? They stack indefinitely and will be always useful. If your talking about glimmer, They go spend it on Spider or buy exotic ships out of your collections as a way to save it for later. If your not spending your raid banners then way continue to buy them? Even if they stacked to 999 your still take up slots eventually...

I think the reason you can't store them is because bungie didn't expect something to yeet legendary shard savings into getting that many banners. I keep under 300 at least.

you wanna...uh...give me like 50? 🌝

Raid more

Heres a fix. Do a shit ton of menagarie or raids and stop hoarding raid banners. Jeez and I thought my 50 was alot.

1 ReplyI've never had a raid banner except for the one we got from some quest or something. 😂

1 ReplyHoarding is one thing. Having 722 Raid Banners is... well... hmmm... Ok then! Did you actually wait until you had 8 stacks of them before finding out you couldn't vault them? If you figured out you couldn't vault them after loading up one or two stacks... WHY DID YO KEEP BUYING THEM??? I generally keep 30 - 40 on me and I use them as often as possible. I now know that if I happen to load up into an activity that uses Banners and I see that I'm matched with you... I'm not dropping a single one! :P

whenever I have an excess about of legendary shards
What's that? I thought legendary shards are uncapped, or at least capped at such a high limit that it stops being an issue. How many of them do you have, that you have to spend them?
-
1 ReplyI agree with your point of being able to vault them.. Youre hoarding the wrong stuff in my opinion lol I hope you hoarded enhancement cores
-
It's your fault for buying so many. Why not just keep around the 100 it lets you stack, because that would be the smart thing to do... You can always buy more later. I have 5k legendary shards and have never used them to purchase raid banners. That's what glimmer is for.

Next time dont buy so damn many 😂😂😂
