I know you're screwing over your trusty pvp fans with shadowkeep and I utterly hope season of the dawn brings some much needed PvP changes!!
But a 7% dmg resistance nerf on Code of Juggernaut is a goddamn joke. It will not fix the sole problem with it, it lasts too goddamn long and you often have to counter it with your own super. Often only giving 1 kill, just to prevent him from getting a 10 kill streak (which I've seen happen twice this week- which is 2 too many!)
(This is purely PvP wise. Let it stay mindless easy in PvE for all I care)

No skill needed specially when paired with OEM which btw also needs a nerf

2 RepliesI believe there’s going to be more sandbox changes but they chose to go over the most important changes. At least that’s what I’m hoping for, because there’s many other things that need tweaking Needed buffs: •Sniper crit damage in PVE •scouts other than 150 rpms •auto rifles •Thundercrash damage •bloom on console •rocket launchers •many underused exotic armor pieces and weapons alike Needed nerfs •shotguns •high impact fusions •aggressive frame Pulse rifles •adaptive frame pulse rifles ( the only thing I would personally touch is toning down all their ranges) •bottom tree strikers super duration •dawnblades super duration All of that is just off the top of my head. But typically Bungie tends to adjust things that are over utilized and under utilized at the same time so hopefully we get more adjustments then our nerfs across the board regarding ability stacking and super regeneration/health.
-
1 Replyit should have either super regen or health regen, to have both on the same skill tree is obscene.
-
1 ReplyI agree, but I do think the slam attack needs a buff. Nobody uses it At all.
-
28 RepliesAngry about the DR on Juggernaut but don't mention Ward of Dawn... We get Suppression Grenades, a 35% damage increase, overshields, AND our Ward is going to be nearly invincible. :)
-
Honestly taking supers out of competitive would solve this forever....
-
4 RepliesYou're forgetting that masterwork will no longer provide additional damage resistance in pvp. They will be easier to shutdown.
-
5 RepliesSo being able to ohk a super (not just striker) with a sniper headshot and possibly shotgun melee isn’t enough for you huh? Crazy
-
You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

3 RepliesBottom tree striker is easily worse than spec blades ever was...yet here it is and here we are. Not fixing it undermines any attempts to fix the crucible. Shit is rediculous at this point.
-
4 RepliesWe're probably gonna get a sniper precision damage buff and maybe a few other things that'll help. Wait for next weekend's TWAB and then come back if that falters.
-
37 RepliesDawnblade and Stormcaller are just as bad as bottom tree striker but no one complains about them.
-
2 RepliesIs that bottom tree striker? I commented on a post the other day saying the same thing. I have been using my titan with lower tree striker equipped for about the last three weeks. My kd on my titan has gone from a .97 to a 1.21, and my best weapon according to destiny tracker is my super. I got downvoted and ripped to shreds to other people (probably titan Mains using it as a crutch) for saying how I can’t believe a 7 % damage resistance decrease is all they have changed for the super. It’s op, it’s broken, and I don’t personally see a 7% damage resistance decrease solving the problem that is the bottom tree striker(and most roaming supers for that). Sure, there may be a few more times that a titan gets shut down, but imo I still see that class being the best choice for the crucible. Time will tell I suppose, but man, it’s insane how easy the crucible is with that class equipped.

1 ReplyLet's all take this time to remember that Luke Smith complained so much about how unbalanced PvP was in Halo 2 that Bungie hired him and he is pretty much in charge of Destiny.
-
13 RepliesNo, it isn't. I play it most the time. Not because it is good. I play it because I play it since warmind in pvp. Even before the buffs. There are soany things that can go wrong with the super. Having no targets. Doing wrong attacks (ground slams do consume so much) Can't hitting enemies above my head. Falling off the map (like everyone else) SC but the enemies are a few pixels out of range so you miss. And even more I can't count on here because I play since 1 Month WoW. Would have to go into crucible to name more issues that can happen. Complaining about strikers killing you is like complaining about Hammers of sol being throwable... The player makes the super, not the super the player.

Edited by Doctor_Roidberg: 9/8/2019 10:55:58 AMI mean I manage pretty well with it in PvP... I’m not gonna say git gud, but it does take some skill. A blast radius buff would help though. Hard to see who you’re aiming for while in Super.

9 RepliesEdited by Why_so_pro71: 9/7/2019 3:02:15 AMDamage resistance was only half the problem. The other half is that the super has way too much super energy and by using their melee shoulder charge kick attack, they can move pretty -blam!-ing fast making it hard as hell to hit. Not to mention the melee attack barely takes any super energy and regenerates energy on kills.
-
1 ReplyYou mean Code of the A**hole?
-
5 RepliesDoes anyone have the stats that show the average use of Supers in Crucible? I know there's a site or something to track it.
-
Honestly a good nerf nerf to it would be the PvE treatment it got with a hard cap of super energy replenished after a certain amount of kills. I’d say after 3-4 kills the super regeneration starts decline rapidly on each additional kill making it harder to go on a massive streak.

1 ReplyI don't play pvp other than for leveling purposes, quest steps. I wish Bungie would just separate pve and pvp already. So tired of down voting all the nerf posts because despite Bungie saying they have the ability to separate the two, I don't think they actually put any effort into actually doing it and if they do, then I can't tell. 5 year Titan Striker Main. Still peeved that we don't have our original Fist of Havoc from D1. Never asked for a roaming super in the first place. Anyone know if Anthem is playable yet?
-
Bungie must be confident in the changes they made i hope we don't die to quick while in our supers
-
1 ReplyYou think that’s infuriating? Just wait until you see a six stack of bubblepeeds. All chaining orbs and suppressing every super you try and throw at them! I’ve missed those days but it looks like it’s time to rebuild the wall!
-
They’re taking away the damage resistance from master worked armor, and reducing the initial damage resistance. Yeah it’s obnoxious getting constantly shoulder bashed by OEM cowards every match, and the upcoming changes to supers can’t come quick enough. I just have to hope and pray they become killable when that happens.

11 RepliesNeed a higher cost for light attack. That is all that is spammed in the super.
