So what I get from this is that you did the "cheese" to complete all the tributes in the tribute hall and now that they have reverted your progress and locked you behind actually doing the intended task of placing the tributes you're unhappy? You exploited the game and you haven't been punished for it so possibly see yourself as lucky for going against what is intended and taking advantages of unintended bugs. And I get that you might have been playing for a long time but that doesn't mean you should be able to get away with exploiting the game. Also, as a final point, just because the game asks you to use resources to complete a challenge, does NOT mean that they are going for a "cash grab" but are making you use your materials which you normally do anyways.

Don’t entirely know what you are saying but I’ll try to retort somehow. The reason I think that the Badjuju was locked out was because the people who did it legit got completely screwed over in materials and bright dust while the people that cheesed it paid nothing but time. The zero hour cheese was something that anyone could have done and didn’t cost anyone anything. “COST” is the main thing I think bungie did what they did. I may be wrong and totally off but it’s just my way of understanding what’s going on. If that’s not what you asked then hell I don’t know what to tell you

Because the Bad Juju Cataylst requires Tributes, a quantifiable requirement that can be reverted and restored back to normal, requiring the intended Tributes. Outbreak Perfected just requires you to complete the Heroic mission, same as Whisper. How will you revert something you've already completed, and then you'd have to track every single person manually and disable the catalyst? No, that isn't possible, and if it was it would be a waste of resources.
