Clarification on Braytech Weapons
Do they only drop from sleeper nodes and are you guaranteed to get the all if you hit 40/40 sleeper nodes?
I understand that you can open up duplicated nodes and make zero progress on your overall sleeper node completions, but is there a certain amount of nodes you open that give you the braytech schematic?
On average how many sleep nodes are you expected to open before having them all?
Does Anna drop them as reputation engram rewards?
Can they drop doing any other activity on Mars like Lost Sectors, Public events adventures etc?
Why are these weapons so rare and duplicates so over abundant ( I know the answer)
It would be nice if Bungie could shed a little light on this.

2 RepliesThey're not guaranteed. I have 39/40 and I have them all but I had to grind them for a long time. Open them everyday until you find one BrayTech Schematic, turn it in to Ana, and then wait until after the next daily reset to open more sleeper nodes. Once you find a Braytech schematic in a sleeper node your chances of finding another in the same day drop by a lot. I prob opened close to 200 sleeper nodes to find the scout rifle which was the last that I needed for the Wayfarer title. It's definitely not guaranteed and opening a new node that you haven't before does not guarantee a schematic or a new weapon, I got my last weapon from a duplicate node that I had opened many times.
