Scorned baron armor
I got the robes once, early on. Nothing else ever on any character. I read Bungie nerfed the drop rate because they come with mods and people were farming them for mod components.....so how do I get more of the armor?
I've done the heroic story missions whenever they pop up but still nothing. Anyone have luck farming the heroic story missions or strikes?
Edit: I didn't realize the eimin-tin ritual mask was one, I got a ton of those. My bad, I thought they'd all be called scorned baron....so there's only a helmet, chest and class item as far as armor?

1 ReplyThere are only 3 items you can get. Helmet, chest and class item. Correct if wrong, they are a guaranteed drop in a heroic Baron mission for the 1st completion that week. Afterwards, you either can't get a drop or its back to RNG. Not 100% sure.

1 ReplyIve actually been farming these on my hunter. So far the only drops I’ve seen are Helmet, Chest, Sparrow, Terrain Wind(Grenade Launcher), and a sidearm whose name eludes me. I have not seen the class item drop after at least 50 runs of heroic adventures. If any of you have gotten the Cayde class item recently from any source I would appreciate a supply, I’m almost convinced they were removed from loot pool.

1 ReplyThey only drop from Heroic Adventures. Barons will always drop something, it just may not be what you want. Lucky though there is only one roll of the armor so once you got it there's no reason to farm for another ever again.

You can only get them from Heroic Adventures, not Story Missions, which means that you can only do it during a Tangled Shore Flashpoint, so this is the week to do it. You're guaranteed one drop on your first completion per character, per day, with a random chance for a drop on repeat runs that same day. Unfortunately, there's also a sidearm and grenade launcher that can drop as well. I've run two Heroic Adventures this week, got the sidearm both times.

I've had some luck getting the baron armor doing the heroic adventures when the tangled shore is the flashpoint. I did the hangman one today and got the chest armor for my titan and when the mad bomber was the daily I got the chest armor for my warlock.
