Just stop it already “cannot reacquire randomized gear”
Would it really be game breaking to let us reacquire randomized gear we already collected dozens of times?

1 Replyi really want to kill my self.. i did a worse mistake that i accidently dismantle for remove the SHATTERED CIPHER heavy machine gun.. and all i need just require it back.. and now i just frustating when i was seeing it on collection that i have it before.. but i can't remember when.. i was looking on internet in not obtainable and is it a seasonal weapons.. and i really want to kill myself now.. NO NEED A RAMDOM ROLL STAT I JUST NEED IT BACCKKK

It would actually be REALLY REALLY simple to get rid of this for Bungie. They don't want you to do it because they don't want you to keep rerolling it to get a gods roll, they want you to grind it. But, to fix that issue, they could simply make it so if you do REACQUIRE it, it is reacquired with the same exact stats of the one you got to put it in collections in the first place. Their system already memorizes it, so it wouldn't be that hard to make that a function.

We grind for the gear. We should be able to keep it at all times. Or at least be able to get it back.

Besides the fact that this system is BS, in my opinion, I think it's horrendous that if you bought the season pass and acquired the season's gear collection by doing so, you cant require them when you hit the hard cap power level. If you pay for something you should be able to whip it out when you want where you want.

I find this system to be complete bullshit. there is gear i really like want to make a full set of but cant be it cant be reacquired and im not wasting hours of my day to get the armor out of random chance.

Yess. Please allow us to reacquire all items after deconstruction even if it's at an expensive price.

I just want to know why we cant require randomized gear. Perhaps Bungies afraid we'll keep trying to re-role the stats but like, we do that anyway with metric tons of hours of repetitive farming. Also getting the god roles for our playstyles is the whole point of the grind. If we managed to get a full set of armor from the -blam!- lady RNG, we should have the luxury to re-role & reacquire as we please.

I agree with him! I accidentally dismantled my Year 3 armor, and now I can't get it back (because of the ornaments)

What the hell is the point of Collections if you can’t pull out gear? I was gonna complete the Lost Souvenir quest, but it requires a full set of Black Armory armor that I can’t pull out. Sh*t f*ckin’ sucks, man.

Edited by BJsRottendS: 10/11/2019 11:08:51 PMIf you could choose in collection by multiple choice armor 1.0 random roll or previous rolls choice and another option for 2.0 varient and ornament variant. That would be 4 different options. Atleast you will have a chance to get 1.0 varient. Thanks for having me play feedback, has come a long way since D1 in such little time. Idc much but i just saw you could not get 1.0 or 2.0 of that armor. In the future it would be wise i guess to not just get rid of stuff you already made and sold, but what do i know. Armor 2.0 i thought was just about ornaments so you could choose which look you wanted somewhere near shaders option and would be allowed for even the 1.0 armor to apply. I thought it was already getting cheap by selecting what you wanted instead of earning it, but i guess it kinda helps out late adopters be able to compete. Hell, if you could just buy every armor as ornament and apply it to armor 1.0 and 2.0 like how i thought it would be from what i heard and read around before it came out. I guess the nine arent in my favor, lmfao.

I think one thing they could do is just have it roll when you buy it so everytime you reacquire a piece of gear the rolls change everytime. But I'm a simpleton when it comes to this stuff so what do I know I just want to make my hunter look the way I want him too

1 ReplyWhen I restarted my warlock I completely forgot to take the dawning gear (Frostreach suit) off and put it into my vault. It would be really nice if I could reacquire the gear again... But I can't because it's randomized gear!!! This upsets me so much... Please just make it so you can reacquire this.

11 RepliesThe best way to fix in my opinion (which I believed was mentioned during the forsaken reveal stream) would be that once you get a weapon that you want and who’s roll you want to keep you should be able to lock it into your collections. Meaning that you can always retrieve that specific roll every time however if you want to change that or update it to a different roll you can however doing so would result in you no longer having your original roll in the collections (you swap them out essentially) of course you’d keep whatever weapon you had originally and it’s roll but you can not retrieve it from collections unless you decide to switch again. Does that make sense I’m terrible at explaining.

And for the record i want to pull gear from collections If we have a fixed roll version of all weapons it brings a few issues, if the roll is good and your first weapon roll is bad you can get a good version straight away and that's good but then you have no reason to get another version and if its a bad fixed roll you have no reason to grab it If we have a system where we can save rolls it means we have what we feel is a god roll version to pull but then why would you want to if you have it already ? Yes you could have it on multiple characters but how hard is it to transfer? A good solution isn't as easy as people make it out to be, make a bad one and no one will use it and complain, make it too good and it defeats the object of random rolls to begin with

Man, Luna doesn't have a random role but you can't grab it from the collection either. Probably because Bungie want you to waste 10 masterwork cores and 60 tokens to buy it again from Shaxx. I see you Bungie... 😎

I remember them saying something at one point about being able to lock a random roll in the collections and that it would have been available in the collections with that specific roll. Was disappointed when it wasn't the case.

1 ReplyOnce you get a weapon you should be able to buy a default version of it. All the ones that you find should have random rolls. That sounds like a fair system.

I have been thinking why not be able to select from the perks you have already received on that weapon when remaking it from collections? It would allow people to be more flexible with what they want to use and not necessarily need to meet RNGesus to get a god roll weapon. Or maybe just pick from a list of the rolls you have already gotten? I don't know I just wish I could have a bit more flexibility without having to keep 3 copies of something while I am toying around and seeing which one fits the best for my style.

This goes beyond getting that one role, it allows people to actually try things because they aren't left waiting and forgetting because of RNG.
