Rheasilvia Region Chest
Has anyone figured out a way to reach that chest in Rheasilvia on the cliff that seems even remotely how Bungie intended people to reach it? Every single video I’ve seen of someone getting it looks more like someone attempting to glitch into an area they shouldn’t be glitching into than someone getting a chest that gives equivalent loot to other chests of the same type that are essentially lying out in the open. Just seems odd to me that this one is, from everything I’ve seen, so much harder to reach mechanically.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I’ve gotten the region chest, I just thought that all the routes I’ve seen people use to get to it didn’t seem like ones Bungie would make intentionally, seeing as they’re rather awkward to traverse.

i have tried watching and following every video I can find about how to reach this chest, I have been trying to get to it since the dreaming city opened up and still can't get it

5 RepliesThere’s sort of a round about way to get up to it. I’ll maybe drop a video later if I remember to record it but.. Jump up the cliff edge to the base of the tree under the chest. Turn around and face towards the tunnel leading back to Divalian lists with the cliff on your left now. There’s a rocky outcropping you can jump on around the same height you’re at now. From there jump straight up to another rock. Again from there you have to go up, but it’s a bit to the right (as you’re facing the cliff) and over a little bit of a lip. From there you’ll see a big grassy patch again up higher but to the left this time. You can jump from the grass to the chest then. I did all of this on a hunter without stompee boots.

Jumped straight up to it. No overcomplicated platforming required. Land on the first few ledges til you get to the tree below the chest. Land on top of the tree and them jump to the chest. If you can't get high enough to land on the tree then try to wedge yourself between the tree and the cliff, THEN to the top of the tree.

Lion Rampants and High Jump is how I got it. I really hope there is a better way to get this (hidden platforms or elevator) that we just haven't found yet. Otherwise this is a terrible spot and Bungie should probably move the chest. If they literally dropped the chest straight down it would end up in a slightly hidden cave. That would be perfect.

I didn't glitch anything or do some crazy acrobatics. It's just a bit of climbing and there are guides of where to jump.

I did it pretty easily. There’s a staircase of rocks you have to parkour up and then you’ll get it.
