I mix and match for stats/look though stats never seem to help much endgame. Seems reading the forum, you either need 9 for your stat to be of some use or 4-8 for minimal effect.

If anyone thinks Dead Orbit has the best Hunter armour, they are delusional. Dead Orbit has always had some of the worst armour I've ever seen. I remember the DO cloak from The Dark Below...It was all tattered up, looked like a wash cloth, with stains all over it that made it look as though it was covered in mud and a certain other substance...

1 Replyfor every class, I personally like to mix and match and not use a full set. There are some sets that work, but most have at least one piece I don't like.

Raid, the glowy purple is fun, but now that I have a set of SoS for my huntress I’m rocking that for a bit.

I rock Sovereign Mask Sovereign Grips Gensym Knight Chest Stomp-Eez (though I prefer the look of Dead End Cure) And a Cloak Called Home All done up in Metro Shift.
