how do we get faction armor?
is there just X chance to get the armor piece every turn-in of 20 tokens?
i'm missing my A-E Gloves, so i can't progress on the "full armor set" ornaments. i'm rank 33ish with DO, and in the last 15 turn-ins i haven't gotten a single armor piece -- not the gloves i need, nor dupes of everything else i already have.
are there any mechanics for less armor returns the higher your rank gets? i googled and didn't really come up with any results

Still waiting for a Hunter helmet. Not even bothering with renown until I get a full set. Boring boring boring lost sectors. Worse crap ever.

I didn’t receive my helmet for DO last rally until I hit rank 55. It’s all about luck.

2 RepliesIt's posts like these that remind me how good of an idea it was [i]not[/i] to dismantle all my faction gear through season 1 and 2. I knew it might come in useful one day. OP, it's not the answer you want to hear, but you just gotta grind. Wish they'd left the ability to buy all the armor after certain amounts of engrams cashed in but can't do anything about that now.

1 Replythanks guys! RNG is actually much better, so I'm glad I still have a shot to get the damn gloves. I was fearful that I may have gotten them and deleted them at some point, and the game was gonna give me the ol' FU at least i can grind and be hopeful and then have my spirits smashed to pieces :)

Random bs. After 8 packages got all my FWC gear for my hunter. The other guys probably won't get squat, tho.

It’s pure rng there is nothing you can do. Many will have theories but sadly none will work it’s pure rng.

(but that is most likely RNG) I managed to get the FWC complete set in short order, since my hunter only has Dead Orbit and New Monarchy sets. Bungie will implement an armor buy option into the rally before september, according to what they stated somewhere. (that won't help you now tho.....)

The armor/weapons are completely random. Hopefully you get those gloves soon.

2 RepliesGo to your faction read the instructions. This sounds satire, but it's not. Some armor requires specific things. For example, I think one piece says you have complete a nightfall in full gear.

i think it's just completely random. i'm still waiting on a dead orbit helmet...but ive gotten 7 boots
