Co-developed by Vicarious Visions and High Moon Studios?

I know that Vicarious Visions and High Moon Studios— two subsidiaries of Activision— joined the development for Destiny 2, but nobody ever explains what part they played. Does anybody here know?

VV handled the PC version of the game as well as being the lead team for the Warmind DLC. As for High Moon - unsure
