Can Guardians even feel love?
Like, seriously? They know friendship and comraderie and all that, but has there ever been proof of a guardian falling in love after becoming a guardian?

1 ReplyWhile our Guardian has all the personality and emotional range of a brick wall, other Guardians seem to maintain a full measure of their humanity. Remember in "Rise of Iron", the interplay between Saladin and Jolder moments before her self-immolation. I don't know if those two were in love, but I wouldn't be surprised at all. It's possible that Guardians are asexual, that they've been resurrected without the capacity for intercourse. But they appear to have normal human emotional range, suggesting that they can indeed fall in love.

Yes. Eriana-6 and Wei Ning were rumored to have been in love. And the Cayde-6 and Eris Lorne’s relationship oozes with the kind of sexual tension that can develop between two peoples who are attracted to each other but don’t actually [i]like[/i] each other. Lock those two in a room and they’d either come out madly in Love.... or you’d have a blood all over the walls. At least until they got frustrated that they could kill each other permanently.

Well my Guardian was in love with The Queen Mara Sov until she was "killed" and then he drifted about for awhile until Lady Efrideet came back then D2 launched and Lady Efrideet was nowhere to be found and again my Guardian drifts alone in this world. He had thought that maybe a bond was forming with Ikora but realizes that it could never happen because Ikora wont let him close enough in fear that she will realize that love is pure and cant be defined or controlled and that is too frightening for her, hence why she asks us "What can you teach me". So, here we are alone in this world and only ourselves to look out for.
