Hey guys So this is my second posting on the topic since for some reason, my other post got pulled down? Not sure why and I didnt get any notification as to why. So I'll try to make this post without adding links, maybe that was the cause? I'm confused about the reason. Anywho, I've noticed that there is a sort of a scam going on regarding special emblems for D2. It seems like people can link a b.net account, with a any specific emblem that needs a code, with a battlenet/xbox/psn account, apply the emblem to a character via fetching it from the kiosk in-game and then unlink but still retain the emblem on the character, regardless of the b.net account being now unlinked. This is different to the behavior in D1 where if you unlinked a b.net account that granted you that special emblem, it would render it unusable in-game. Now, the behavior in D2 is allowing people to "sell" these emblems by requesting that the buyer give them their battlenet/xbox/psn account name and password for them to apply it to their characters. Stating that the buyers wont be able to fetch the emblems from the kiosks themselves nor can they delete the emblems from their characters, since they cant regain them. This sounds like a scam to me and I feel really bad for my fellow guardians that might fall for this. Could you look into this? It's mostly for the Cutting Edge emblem on ebay but there are way more of these. Thank you in advance. <3
