UPDATE: Week 7. I have lots of max power level items... I have 9 helmets, 14 gauntlets, 8 boots, 6 chests, but 0 class items. UPDATE: Now on week number 5. 5 Weeks at 334... This is the 5th week for me of doing every milestone (minus raid - all my friends have quit) including a prestige nightfall, and not being able to get my cloak to drop for my hunter. (Meanwhile, I have 1 legendary gauntlet and all the exotic guantlets for all 3 classes, plus another 12 gauntlets in the vault, all at max power level). Please consider one or both of these suggestions: 1) Smarter loot. It doesn't have to be guaranteed, but if armor drops weighed things you needed more heavily, that would help. My lowest power level item is my cloak at 334 - so if the chance of getting a cloak were higher, that would be super. Even round-robin would be an improvement, where the drops go helm, chest, gauntlet, boot, class item. 2) Re-enable cross-class infusion. We had this in D1 - I assume it was taken away in an attempt to keep people playing longer. it's having the opposite effect on me as once I get all my milestones done I just end up feeling like I've wasted my time. I've got several max PL class items... just none for a hunter. If I had to pick one, I'd pick #2. Why? Because it means that after I've completed my milestones on my hunter and still not gotten the cloak, I can fire up my warlock or titan and keep trying. As it stands right now? I'm going to go play something else and wait for next Tuesday. Which brings me to a bonus item: Milestone activities shouldn't be the ONLY way to move up. When even exotics that drop in the wild decode at 329, Bungie's doing it wrong. Exotics should always drop higher than your current power level unless you're maxed. Once you're maxed, blues can drop at max PL occasionally. Perhaps purples should always have some small chance of decoding higher than your PL, even when you're not maxed. Perhaps purples always drop at your PL +/- 2? It would certainly give people additional incentive to play beyond their milestones. If I could just go play public events, or strikes, or whatever, knowing that there's a CHANCE that a purple could drop with my 335 cloak in it? I'd be playing right now.
