Best way to get plain legendary engrams in D1?
I need to get just one of the plain (i.e. not tied to a specific weapon class or armor type) legendary engrams to buy the cape from Shiro. I just did the SIVA Heroic again but no luck. Any types on the best activities to do to try and get one?

Legendary engram drop from general killing, so just play any regular activity and any enemy may drop one. The rewards at the end of strikes drop equipment directly, not engrams that are unidentified. So really it's just up to RNG, but simply play the game and you'll get one eventually.
