What does it mean to unlock an ornament?
So I'm a trial player currently, but I got a crucible ornament for the crucible titan boots. I got two pairs of crucible boots on my titan, and my ornament had "unlock" instead of "discard" for the square button. (I'm on PS4.) Once I unlocked it, it disappeared, and neither of the pairs I had changed.
Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I'm new to Destiny Crucible and armor ornaments. Started playing at the end of D1's life. Like, end of Rise of Iron with only Taken King.

2 RepliesInspect the Armor Piece you unlocked the Ornament for. You will find an option to equip the Ornament there. "Unlocking" an Armor Ornament means that you unlock the ability to switch the Ornament on and off on said Armor Piece. Furthermore, that specific Armor Ornament is unlocked for every piece of that Armor. Say, you unlock the Gauntlet Armor Ornament, but you do not own them yet. If you obtain them at any point, it will have the option to equip the Ornament. This applies to any copies of the Gauntlet as well. In other words, you unlock it once, you unlock it forever and for every copy of that Armor Piece.
