Bungie need to be totally honest about their intentions for the game. Don't forget there is a DLC due in a few days and personally, I'm skeptical of this coming blog post being a 'promise' of changes in the future, in order to increase hype and encourage people to buy the DLC. No matter what they say, I won't spend any further money on this game until (if ever) it becomes a game worth playing.

Haven’t played in over a month, and I used to play d1 at least 4 hours a day. If they don’t address any issues and go back to the old system I’ll just uninstall, lol what a waste of 100$ that I could have spent on food

I think they got hit where it hurts, money. DLC isn’t selling as expected so they decided to address issues and promise fixes to get the players back.

They should delay the dlc and fix most of D2 issues. In the mean time they could give the live team the green light to inject events and new loot.

It got cancelled cause they had plans to show off how awesome the "new" (old - revamped) content was going to be.. But they knew we would see the pile of shit they are still producing for this game and they finally realize we see their bullshit business practices. Sucks something with so much potential is being produced by such a shitty game studio.

2 RepliesMake the shaders thing more of a collection page. Once you have it you have it, thats it done. Then we could equip it without loosing it and less clutter. make it more like other games cosmetics where if you have like a dye or something its unlocked. thats it. You can leave it based on armor pieces like a helmet shader, arms shader, etc. but dont make them go away. plus this would relieve vault space for more im portant stuff.

There is no reason Bungie can't do both, have the stream and the blog post. That can't be too much for them to do in 1 day can it? My honest opinion is they truely felt the 2 tokens and a blue hip pack was a great reward and when they saw how we reacted they are afraid to make things worse. Lets face it they haven't been very good figuring out what we want from D2 they were suprised with how fast the majority of people finished the story and reached max level. They felt the exo strangers story was well wrapped up I know thats from D1 but it could have been part of D2, they did realize people would already want more vault space they seem to be so out of touch with the fans. Look at the things they changed in D2 the left us dumbfounded. I bet they aren't sure about what they were going to show us, they don't want to piss us off anymore because weather or not they care about us or our money if we don't like what we see we might not buy the DLC of just give up on the game all together.

1 ReplyTake out micro transactions, the only reason they were in d1 was to support further smaller expansions and updates. Age of triumph, the massive update that brought back a ton of content and some changes to the game was free, so either remove microtransactions or make the expansions free.
