I have always played tank type classes in the games I play. For some reason i thought if I maxed out my Resilience I would be able to take twice as much damage as someone with say 5 resilience. I noticed that I go down just as easy as someone with a lot less resilience. With in the same idea I noticed since I only have 5 recovery I regain my health at a much lower rate then someone at 10 recovery.
What is more important for stats, a few more points of health or the fountain of health? Better to have a small amount up front or a much faster way to gain it back over and over again?
To me resilience and recovery do not seem to have a balance, I don't necessarily want WOW for say where each class has 1 roll they are good at. I would like to see resilience increase my health more then it currently does; to where in a strike i can take twice as much damage as someone with half as much resilience.

I would like to point out if you watch the recovery specific portion of this post and pause the video when 10 recovery has reached full recharge that 5 recovery is only about a 3rd of the way recharged. This would indicate to me that recovery is stacking at a much higher rate then resilience where each point is only worth 1 health after 5 points. while further breaking this down recovery is increased by roughly 66% from 5 to 10 points. where resilience is only increased by roughly 2.55% by going from 5 to 10 hardly a worth wile increase.
I am very surprised that Destiny 2 does not have a mechanic for PVP, this is why I believe this increase is so minor.

Yeah, someone did a ton of testing on this. For recovery, it is wildly helpful and the diffetence in levels is very noticeable. The more the better. Resiliance is very helpful, but it has decreasing gains after 5. Paired with the current meta, 4-5 resiliance is necessary, but any more than that and you are wasting points. Ie, 4 or 5 resistance over 0-3 allows you to tank an extra shot from most guns before dying, but 6-10 resiliance can be killed in the same range as a 4-5. Mobility is wildly helpful in pvp. It pretty much only affects strafe speed because there is ledge pullup, so not super helpful. Strafing does raise your survivability in pvp though, so try not to neglect it unless you do mostly pve, if so, max recovery and screw mobility.

Actually is; Recovery (max it out) Resilience (just 4, no need to get more) Mobility (whatever you have)
