Rat King Quest Abandoned - How to get back?
Hello all, I have accidentally abandoned the Rat King quest. Other exotic quest items have their quests reappear at the associated vendor (eg MIDA reappears at the weaponsmith in the tower), unfortunately the Rat King one does not have a respawn vendor.
I found a suggestion of playing a few crucible matches with a fireteam who have the Rat King equipped, but the quest item has yet to drop (after 8 or so matches)
Has anyone been able to get back this quest? What did you do?

So I ran into this when it happened to me back then. Ignored it since there appeared to be so solution to getting the quest back. However the quest appeared twice on my other character. Anyway the quest just came back randomly after completing the SoS raid.

Quest-related items, such as the guns required (like for the Sturm and Mida are recoverable, but the quest-step items, once deleted, are gone, and simply buying the guns relevant to them does not recover the quest-step item. You'll have to receive it on another character; for now, that's your only option. Always remember to lock important things, and also take note that if an important thing changes (like the quest-step items change to a new item after completing a step) that the new item will need to be locked again as it's a new item.
