On the damn Nintendo switch....
But we can't get 60fps in Destiny?
Really?

I got me 60fps

Omg and you can throw a hat. And possess things. And you buy all these Switch accessories. And you think, “should I get DOOM next month?” But that PC version of Destiny 2, though... but you can’t build a gaming pc right now because you gave Nintendo way too much money. And after a week, you kind of miss shooting things. And you hop on the Destiny forums to see what’s up while you watch Mindhunters on Netflix. And you think about jumping in your ship and hitting the grind, but this show is too damn good... My life at this exact moment ha.

It's pretty obvious what Nintendo sacrifices to make their games run smoothly. 😂

Here I am enjoying 60fps on PC.

6 RepliesBecause Super Mario Odyssey doesn't have the enemies having a somewhat complex AI compared to D2. They do one thing when they see the enemy and are built upon a pattern. Yes, D2s AI isn't very good, but still because there are so many enemies running their AIs in one area, it takes more processing power then running simple AIs that do one thing only. Super Mario Odyssey relies on very simple mechanics thereby the processing power is then used on the visuals.

It's because Nintendo actually cares for its clientele, which is a rich statement in and of itself.

The amount of moron oozing from this post is astounding. Before making such retarded posts, how about you go learn the differences the GPU, CPU qualities before making such remarks. Also, any game that has "run" at 60fps (they don't bar 1, but anyway) on console, also sacrifices resolution quality to do so. You're comparing an apple to a typewriter

4 RepliesEdited by Nox Lumina: 11/1/2017 9:15:40 AMNvm, first point was outdated info \o/ BUT you DO realize Mario isn't as taxing?
-
1 ReplyComparing Mario and Destiny as if they have even close to similar technical hurdles to overcome. LOL, that's cute...
-
4 RepliesIt's also less demanding than Destiny! Mario games running at 60 are nothing new. Learn the fact that the Xbox One and PS4 simply do not have the cpu power to run Destiny 2 at 60 fps.

Edited by SmashvilleViking: 10/31/2017 11:13:20 PMWhen you figure out the correlation between GPU, RAM, and CPU, let us know.

As did Halo 5 that came out 2/3 years ago lol That an dedicated servers meant the PvP was a dream, and actually worked.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Lost Frames: 11/1/2017 1:58:48 AMI don't buy that this game can't run at 60 for at least PVP and 30 for PVE, Bungie is published by Activision, runs on newest Gen Consoles, has an obnoxious huge Budget, no excuse Same goes for dedicated servers

First things first = console FOV slider. Then they can optimize it for the increased drawing field. 120FOV 60fps should be the goal.

2 RepliesDo you know how computers work when it comes to gaming? You're probably the target audience of the Xbox one x where they kept spitting out how high Tflops it pefrirms at. Throw some numbers and make it seem great, when it really is just one small component of it all as a whole. Yes the Switch is way under in terms of performance of Xbox one and PS4 but the games itself are completely different. In my opinion, they did a really good job and making the planet's in Destiny pretty amazing looking, and that eats at the performance of the system. If you want to play with an unlocked frame rate, buy it on PC and make sure you have the equipment to handle it. Otherwise, just be happy with what you can afford.

But 60fps doesn't have that cinematic feel tho
jk 60fps>30fps
-
5 RepliesYeah because with the much higher end graphics, much more inhabited worlds, more multiplayer, being always online, it is totally just as easy to make 60 FPS in Destiny as it is for a -blam!-in cartoonish art style. Great logic bruh.
-
Nintendo is really good at optimizing games on their hardware. Even first party wii u games ran at 60 fps.

Be your own Nintendo.

More endgame content in mario...... Just sayin

1 ReplyI have Mario. Great game.

4 RepliesDoes mario have 6 man raids?

2 RepliesVideo games =================> Your head

5 RepliesBlame Sony and Microsoft they can easily release a pro vision of there console that cost slightly more and runs at 60 fps least at 1440p maybe even way more to run 4k 60 fps if you dont wanna spend big buck for that then dont complain that console makers dont offer it.
-
3 RepliesLove all these people saying the Xbox One S and PS4 Pro can handle it 4k 60FPS. Yet when we play it they have frame rate issues at 30fps with the upscaled 1080p to create false 4K.

Loving this game. Game of the year.
