Hi
I have been having some performance problems with the game since launch. Please note the beta did not display any of these symptoms.
Symptoms
1) Despite having high frame rates 140fps+ after a short while the game will feel very choppy and stutter, I believe the term is called "a slideshow".
2) Accessing the menu, sub menus, fast traveling, loading into missions, looking at milestones (Tab or Tab and Hold) I will be stuck at 30FPS whilst in game. This only goes away when I alt-tab but then frame rates start to dive.
Specs
-Windows 10 CU Fall 1709 (Fresh install via refresh last week, not update)
-Nvidia Drivers 388.10 (Previous had 388.00)
-Nvidia GTX1080ti
-Intel 3770K 4.7Ghz OC
- Multimon setup. Main Dell2716DG Gsync 144Hz & Extended Secondary Asus VG278H 120Hz non G-Sync
-16GB Samsung RAM 1866 (4X4Gb)
-Game is installed on SSD, separate from O/S
-Internet connection 75/17Mb (Run via speedtest)
What I have tried but did not fix either problem
-Destiny2.exe enabling override high dpi scaling behaviour
-Leave Clan
-Setting region to Americas from the Blizzard Client (I am from EU)
-In Game tried all window and fullscreen modes
-Turned off Windows Defender
- Windows 10 Game Mode features all disabled. When I launch the game the Game Bar launcher does not appear.
-<cvar name="force_enable_multi_threaded_render_submit" value="0" /> Changing value to 1
-Playing game in Fullscreen. FPS still deteriorates over time.
What I believe are the causes to the symptoms
For 1) Possible memory leak (The symptoms point to it however my memory usage in game was a MAX of 5,311Mb 32.5% MAX Load, CPU MAX Usage was 69.5%, CPU Max Package Temp 56C, GPU MAX Temp 56C)
Edit 29/10/17 What fixed Symptom 1 for me
-Logging out from Blizzard Client. Changing to Americas from the login screen and logging back in. Played for 4.5 hours without any of the stuttering and fps degradation issue occurring.
Video (Will be uploaded later) G-Sync Disabled since I think it is broke in Window Mode
For 2) I believe G-Sync is broken. Because Bungie force us to use Windowed Fullscreen mode for streaming with OBS in order for OBS to detect the game we use "Enable G-Sync for windowed and full screen mode" in the Nvidia control panel. When we use Full screen mode or disable G-Sync we then have to live with tearing and choppy frame rates caused by frame rate drops but atleast we do not load into 30FPS everytime we perform an action or encounter a heavy boss fight.

NB: For each test I exited the game, changed the setting from Nvidia Control Panel. Went into Manage 3D Settings and turned OFF V-Sync and relaunched from Bungie Client. (Changing G-Sync settings automatically sets V-Sync to use application default, so I ensured it was OFF)
