Playing on PC, it never even occurred to us that we can't have more than 3 players for just the open world. I can't remember how we did it but somehow in Shrine of oryx, we had 6? We farmed that like crazy. Now we have public randoms but it's still the same set up as before I thought you guys expanded on it and made it bigger? Why can't we have bigger fireteams? We can do it for raids so why not patrols and events? Our group of 5 is split up now and we all just got destiny 2 for everyone. They're excited about the raid, but not much into pvp. We always do shit as a group so there isn't much to do for us.

Edited by Týr-Skadi: 3/26/2023 3:08:49 AMIf you ask me 20 players in a FT against AI would be nice. (In a mission or something.) But i guess Bungie's server would explode.

1 ReplyEdited by ADragonWithin: 10/27/2017 1:52:31 AMWhen you manage to get in the same area of a public area with others, each fireteam can invite up to 2 other people, thus making you have 6 people all together in the same area, but it's still only two fireteams of three. In Destiny 2, general coop is 3 members, PvP is 4 members, and raid is 6 members, there's no way to intentionally insure that you end up in the same set of areas with other fireteams, it's only a chance that you may load into the same hosted area. That being said, if you'd like to request that fireteams be increased, etc, then you need to adjust your post to #feedback instead of #help .
