Same thing happening to me. Processor : AMD Phenom II X6 1055 Memory : 32GB DDR3 GPU : MSI GeForce GTX 970 4G OS : Windows 10 I can't believe that we were informed that your processor needs to support SSSE3 the day of release, less than an hour ago. I was all ready to play and have fun with my friends, and then my game just crashes after the character selection screen. I bought the Digital Deluxe edition, and now there is nothing to show for it. If Bungie has any plans on getting a good reception for PC players, this needs to be fixed. There is no reason why the game should work in beta and not work on release without notifying anyone. This makes me completely frustrated and even if they do fix the error, it will not be fun trying to catch up to my friends that are already several levels above me.

I am having the same problem here. Create character > Watch Cinematic > Game shows loading screen, then crashes. AMD Phenom X6 1090T 8 GB RAM GTX 670 with Updated Drivers Win 10 No problems during BETA. Sigh!

Same Problem here (Phenom ii). Please fix this before I'm forced to refund. ):

3 RepliesUnder known issues, it says the game requires SSSE3. These AMD processors don't support that, so it seems like we're SOL unless they make a change, which probably won't happen.

Well, you see, Bungie needed money from Nvidia.... That's one reason why they are giving away a free copy of D2 with a purchase of a GTX 1080 Ti. Also, AMD makes the custom GPU for Microsoft's new Xbox One X. And lets not forget that Microsoft took Halo away form Bungie. So, in other words, Bungie is greedy and vindictive, and they really don't care if some players become collateral damage to their ego.
