Newest Pre-order Bonuses - Coldheart Rifle, Kill-Tracker Ghost, Salute Emote, and Destiny Fidget Spinner.
PRE-ORDER BONUSES, and are you still entitled to them if you pre-ordered a long time ago?
Okay! So they released info about THREE brand NEW pre-order bonuses. The Exotic Coldheart Trace Rifle, The Kill-Tracker Ghost, and also a Salute emote.
Can you still get the Coldheart Rifle if you don't pre-order?
Yes, but you'll have to wait to get the Coldheart until the 5th of December. After that time, it will unlock for everyone.
I don't know what places (i.e. Amazon, Gamestop, PSN, etc) will offer what, but from what I've seen these three pre-order bonuses are not vendor locked. I don't know for sure though because I searched Bestbuy, Amazon, and Gamestop to see what they had listed. Only Gamestop is showing anything relating to these 3 pre-order bonuses. Although, Gamestop does not list the salute emote yet.
I called a local Gamestop store because I pre-ordered through them. I can confirm the following!
1.) Gamestop has yet ANOTHER pre-order bonus which is a Destiny fidget spinner. My local Gamestop confirmed that they will be physically having the Destiny fidget spinners available for anyone that has pre-ordered, ready to pick up in two days, on July 29th.
2.) If you have already pre-ordered Destiny 2 then the rifle, ghost, and salute will be included with your purchase. So you will be grandfathered into this newly announced DLC. You will not miss out. This is for all version of D2.
I didn't make this post to be a end all be all source of pre-order knowledge. I did so simply to let people know detailed specifics about the above that I couldn't find online. These details were obtained by being on the phone for 15 minutes with a Gamestop manager who at first, did not know himself. But he got the answers above so I figured I would share. Happy hunting Guardians!

I can confirm two things after this weekend... gamestop stores are only supplied with like 5-10 or so spinners which is ridiculous. Also, the fidget spinners are only available to BRAND NEW pre-orders. SO old pre-orders are not entitled to them. I called my local Gamestop this past Saturday morning at 10:13. They opened at 10:00. They were already sold out when I called. Apparently they are popular? (slaps forehead)

1 ReplyIt's my understanding that the weapon will be bonus content for all pre-orders, the ghost is specific to one chain in the UK, and the fidget spinner is specific to GameStop but only if you pre-order this weekend. As far as the emote is concerned, we've always known that an emote is going to come as pre-order bonus content, along with an emblem and a legendary sword.

On one hand I do have ADHD, though the toy's effects are more of a placebo, while on the other hand I don't really care for it. Also depends on if it's coming to Canada. After a quick call to my EB Games, I have learned the spinner will not be available, no big loss there
