Ravensteel - The BEST Sparrow (for SRL)
I was reading online about the statistics and II guess even though they all "seem" the same - actually there are slight differences.
According to Prima Games: Ravensteel is actually listed as "the fastest" sparrow that you can use right now.
Obviously you can't get it anymore as it was a gift to us Year 1 players.. but it's so amazing in the races. If you have one, you need to be using it. It's really good.

Agreed I've been using raven steel and she's good. I wouldn't say noticeably quicker but a good sparrow non the less .

You need 2 things for easy win. 1: a trick bike, do a trick every chance you get, this will keep your side to side always charged 2: must have srl gear, arms and boots, use less fuel for bumping and gain more bumping with tricks landed. If u do this, you will always be in the top 3, if this doesn't work for you racing just isn't ur thing. Ps I have tried every single sparrow out there, trick bikes are the best.

There are plenty of Legendary sparrows with exactly the same stats as Ravensteel.

I will have to give it a try along with my grave robber. Had only got back to it today and first race I was last LOL. Takes a bit to get back into the swing of racing for sure. In that match I saw a Luna with LITC drop so you can bet there will be nothing else going on for a while but riding those damn sparrows....

5 Replies*Trump voice* WRONG Actually the best sparrow overall is the SR-1 Swiftriver. It can do tricks and has the best overall stats. The XV0 Timebreaker and The Graverobber can be the fastest/best though, but they have very little room for error.

1 ReplyEdited by GTLargo21: 12/14/2016 3:45:27 PMI've been using the Jealousy and King's Touch sparrows. Doing tricks midair is a key mechanic to keeping up the left and right strafe. Good for dodging things, taking tight turns and to keep hitting those gates. I do have Ravensteel, but have had better results with these 2. [spoiler]They also have a speed of 160. A very slight touch less boost power, but that's inconsequential when you can consistently hit gates.[/spoiler]
