So I bought the new Astro A50 wireless... I have no game chat in game, Party chat works. I thought this was an Astro issue and its not. I was playing Battlefield 1 on the xbox one and the chat system in game worked fine. Can someone in Bungie look into this please? They were 300$ I have till Jan to return but I would really like to keep them they are very nice headsets. I read that the USB port is what handles everything. Can you guys at Bungie buy the AstroA50 wireless headset and see if you guys can fix this?

Back in this thread....worried if my A50's are gonna have Game Chat working for Destiny 2 or not. :(

I have the same exact issue on Xbox One. Game chat does not work on Destiny, only Party Chat.

14 RepliesSeems to me the best bet is to buy the adapter chat thing for the Xbox controller and just plug it in directly. $20 saves the headache.

5 RepliesHave you contacted Xbox or Astro Support? Bungie doesn't provide troubleshooting for consoles or accessories (factory or third-party).

3 RepliesI have the same headset but I never use the chat in game. Sometimes I have a little issue to syncronize. My workflow to resolve is switch to PC and a few seconds later switch to XBOX. Try that but after see what you said, it should be Bungie chat issue.

20 RepliesIf your using ps4 you need to change the settings in "chat setting" and the select " prioritize party chat "
