Unattainable Grimoire Cards
A lot of people already know about this, but there are a few grimoire cards in the game that you simply can't get anymore, or could never get the first place (Fate of All Fools). Which sucks for completionists like me who want to max out their grimoire score and grind out the annoying stuff like sidearm kills in the months leading up to Rise of Iron.
So what I propose is to bring back crucible maps that were removed from the rotation (Frist Light, Bastion, etc.) at least for a little bit. And to maybe make combined arms the weekly crucible playlist one week.
As for the FoAF grimoire card, since only one person in the world has the gun and Bungie has no plans to change that because the Jade Rabbit exists, i say either just give everyone the grimoire card for free, or just remove it off the app and website entirely.
I know the chances of Bungie seeing this are pretty much zero and i doubt anyone other than me cares but i felt like i needed to give my two cents.

1 ReplyHow exactly is getting sidearm kills annoying? They're the best special weapons in the game right now. It was annoying back in HoW since the only one available was a piece of crap with bullet travel time, but the hakke sidearms are badass.

1 ReplyOut of all the grimoire cards, I have yet to unlock, I think the most challenging ones: are some of the exotic weapons, the Lighthouse on Mercury, Bastion and Skyfall maps.

They need to bring back srl too, me and others weren't on at the time. Also doubles needs to be a permenat playlist

FoAF doesn't give any grimoire

Grimoire cards are meant as a symbol that you experienced something, so when you can no longer get that card, its a sign of age and experience in the game world

The combined arms maps are still,in the game you just need to play classic control

First light and bastion are in the classic 6v6 playlists, just not frequently. Combined arms should never be the weekly, but all game modes should be playable at all times or at least on a daily/weekly rotation.

12 RepliesI agree with this post, but I would also like to object to having a grimoire card for going to the lighthouse. Not that I'm heavily focused on completing my grimoire, but for those who are completionists and who are not great PVP players, their only way to get that card is to get carried. IMO that is just wrong. Sure, let the elite PVP players have their day and earn recognition, but that recognition shouldn't include a grimoire card that most won't be able to earn on their own.

The grimoire will still be obtainable after rise of iron but what I think bungie should do is if in year one HOW you would remember the wolves bounties , the bounties would have a boss at the end which would give grimoire , these bounties now do not exist in the game meaning if you didn't get them all then you can't get them ever , but with the reef becoming more relevant why doesn't bungie just bring them back to make Petra more relevant again and give grimoire to those who missed it

Why don't you work on the stuff you haven't completed that can still be done instead of complaining about what you can't get. You still have a long way to go for max glimmer.

I hate that it doesn't give it to you because you didn't win thee entire match. Not only that, bungie's MM system loves to put you in games that have already started or damn near finished!! It gets to the point where I don't want to play anymore.

2 RepliesAlso some stuff available in Y1 unavailable in Y2, like The Dark Below's Urn of Sacrifice. It literally is unavailable now. Normally I wouldn't care, but played Destiny for a long time on Xbox 360, recently upgraded to PS4, only to find out there are a couple of cards I can't get on the new console.
