Best shader?
I was wondering what you guys think is the best shader (in your opinion). I personally like the old guard, god of war and aaru's passage,

Queen's Web, Krokos, Chanson de Geste, Themisto, Chatterwhite, Valentine shaders; there's quite a few wholly dependent on your armor and class. I suggest finding one that works well with contrasting colors and that matches up well with your class item since they aren't always shader-applicable.

I won't say it's the best. But definitely the most consistently good shader in the game for me. When I can't decide on what to use, or if it looks good, I go with... Thunderdevil. 85% of the time, it looks good. Unlike some that are awesome with only specific armor pieces

Old Guard on Titan with Sant-14 and Magenta Chroma set is a good look.

I like Thunderdevil on my Titan with blue chroma. Looks cool. Old Guard is a great one for showing off chroma. Suros Minimalist and God of War (or Valentine they look almost the same), I also like Yesternight and Antique Land on my warlock.

With the use of Chroma this changes the game a bit. Before it was just the type of gear, but now a shader can look so different with the type of armor and with/without chroma I like Old Guard with red or green Chroma I enjoy Kingspyre and Vallsgard as well.

I'm currently liking amduat ink a lot. But the shaders I like change every couple of weeks, so I'm sure I'll get tired of it and find a new favorite in my shader kiosk

1 ReplyThere is no best shader. Some look amazing on certain characters depending on the specific armor, while the same shader looks like a dumpster fire with different armor or on another character.
