Please, forgive me if this has been brought up or if the answer is obvious and im just failing to see it.. but I believe the Rise of Iron stated Lord Saladin was the last, but I thought Lord Shaxx was as well at one point in time.. am I mistaken? I thought they was homies bruh

8 RepliesNo. During the Battle of Twilight Gap, Lord Saladin gave the Titans the final command of "hold your ground" or more appropriately "die where you stand". Lord Shaxx, however, led his regiments of battle frames in a counterattack that pushed back the Fallen through the breach in the Wall. Arcite 99-40, the Crucible Quartermaster, is the last of Shaxx's battle frames. Even though Lord Shaxx was pivotal in pushing back the Fallen offensive, he still disobeyed a direct order from Lord Saladin and the rift between the Titans has not been resolved.

9 RepliesSaladin was the teacher and mentor of both Shaxx and Zavala. After seeing the carnage at the Battle of Twilight Gap, Shaxx decided to train the guardians on a level playing field, so that they could learn basic tactics and unit cohesion. Lord Saladin believes that this is not the way, and he and Shaxx have disagreed about it for many years, causing a rift in their friendship. Saladin believes that only through harsh and brutal training conditions will the guardians become powerful enough to fight the coming war and take up the mantle of the Iron Lords.

2 Replieslord shaxx was an apprentice of lord saladin at the time of the twilight gap. zavala was as well. so they were both in training to become iron lords. there was a disagreement between shaxx and saladin about using frames in a certain location to fight the fallen. this caused a massive rift between shaxx and saladin (not sure where zavala stands in all of this) but shaxx then went on to create the crucible to train guardians to fight the darkness, with saladin holding the iron banner once a month. i guess their relationship got better, as shaxx actually permitted saladin to hold the iron banner. although i don't think anyone knows what saladin did after twilight gap or in between iron banners.
