Is Halo Reach really the last Halo game Bungie's making?
Ive heard this, but i dont know if its really true. I also heard their selling the Halo rights to 343 studios.

Employees have stated numerous times via Podcasts and Weekly Updates that Reach is the last Halo game made by Bungie, and that they're already working on a new series. But for those who want to keep getting new Halo games, that's what 343 was formed for. There are a lot of former Bungie employees on their team, so you should expect a good deal of quality from the,/

Reach will be the last halo game made by bungie on this generation xbox, but they have said that after reach they will be working on a new IP, wich will take us to the end of this xbox generation. Bungie has also said that they arnt finished with halo, just that they have other ideas they want to follow. I assume this means (SPECULATION) that we will have a bungie produced halo title either at launch or early on in the next generation xbox life span? the halo universe is to big for them to just dump, so no, this will definitly not be the last halo title by bungie!

If it isn't the last game: The most anyone can really expect is a Halo Reach spin-off like how ODST is a Halo 3 spin-off. If it is: I wouldn't be surprised if Bungie put so much time and effort into Reach to end their experience with Halo with a bang to the point where it becomes Halo's Ocarina of Time.

343 industries are still there. Either way, people are going to protest and destory everything the day 343 or bungie say " NO MORE HALO! " So lets just enjoy it whilst we can, and never forget Halo: CE ^^

I think some of the styles are not right for Halo (pretty much anything not CG), the acting is lame at times. And even with all these flaws I still like it because it expands the Halo story. Its made up of a lot of ex Bungie and Ensemble employees, and they are doing a good job on Halo Legends, so I think they can do it. How can you think that there will be no more Halo games, anyway?? Plus, Halo 4 doesnt have to be about the other Halos (the Ark is heavily damaged, so the Array is useless), so it can be about something else. Look at Halo Wars. They made a Halo game that is canon to the story, and it wasnt about the Halo Array. [Edited on 01.07.2010 2:59 PM PST]

Might be the last game that adds on to the covenant war know for going after the activation of the halos, but may not be the last time that we see a spartan. We all have to remeber a certian spartan floating in space at the end of halo 3. The fact that all the halos are gone means that the game can't go by halo. So my guess yes there are no more halo games but, no we will see a new fight or at least something of that sort with John 117.

343 industries was left behind to continue it. If they follow suit, 7 halo games will be all. if you don't know what that means, most halo mythos is based around the number 7. And its not the best idea to not explain what the hell happened in halo 3's legendary ending. And halo odsts legendary ending for that matter. But we will see : ) ... if reach is the last one , im seeing burning streets and protests XD
