I'll start with saying I know someone has already made a Sleeper Simulant out of Lego and it looks awesome and it's probably built better then mine lol, he is ZAZINOMBIES from YouTube, a true master builder and one of my inspirations. So for a while now I've been wanting to create a short vfx type clip with my friends such as this https://www.youtube.com/edit?video_id=LgnDc1hKd30&video_referrer=watch, I honestly didn't want to try to create the sleeper simulant out of lego because I knew I lacked the pieces and because of the strange and unique shape of it I knew it was going to be difficult, so I spent maybe 5-6 hours on my first night trying to figure out how I'd make the triangular frame at the front of the gun, it was extremely tricky and took some funny building techniques I'll tell ya, after completing the triangular frame part I just stopped trying to make it because it just took me so long to figure out and I just felt very ''ughhh i give up'', so a month later I decided to just sit down and finish it, and since the last 4 days I've been at it maybe 5 hours a day or more and now its done! It's rather fragile and flimsy, you have to really pick it up carefully or it'll loosen some bits and they may fall off Obvious thing to note are that the triangular/front frame of the gun is in dark grey and in some instances light grey and not black like they should be, I just didn't have enough smooth black plates, there is also no scope/sight, as I don't have a translucent green piece like the one on the actual sleeper simulant, I will however try to make a sight for it and lastly I may add a few more little details here and there but I just don't want to overdo it, it's already kinda heavy, I'd say it weighs like 8-9lbs I'm planning to make a short clip with a go pro that I have, once that's done sometime in the next two weeks I'll post it up :) http://i.imgur.com/EWV0ABV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3QvMrH5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CB6pV0e.jpg VIEW PIC UNDER THIS TEXT FOR SCALE, I've taken a pic of the gun with a Banana, iphone and a ps4 controller so you can see its true size http://i.imgur.com/CilEkKa.jpg
