[BUNGIE] Crimson Days and Destiny Update 2.1.1 Vital Information

Around 10:00 AM PST on Tuesday February 9th, Destiny players may be asked to login again upon returning to orbit to download a patch.
We’re aware that some consoles attempt to verify all content (18+ gigs) of previously installed patches to ensure there are no issues with previously downloaded content. [b]Do not cancel out of this verification, or you will be required to re-download all previous updates[/b].

Shame there wasn't matchmaking for people who play solo. It's for that reason I have finally got bores and will spend my focus with in the Dark Zone.....goodbye bungie...it's been fun!

Like all crucible rewards, 99.9 percent of the time first place gets garbage rewards. To experiment a little I purposely did killed myself so my teammate would score better. I ended with 3 legendary items while he got a mote of light in 5 games. Kinda the same in srl and iron banner. I got 320 gear only in 5th place. Never anything good in first.

I can't get the Crimson bonds quest to show up? I have played 9 rounds of Crimson doubles and cannot get the quest.....

So in a match, the other team immediately started doing ToM suicide. Does this count on the 7 game counter for the shell?

4 RepliesQuestion to all those denied a Ghost of any kind! I've played over 100 games of Crimson Doubles and not gotten one Ghost, meanwhile my teammates keep getting them over and over (been in 5 different teams, not suiciding). I've tried playing at high and low Light, used all manner of guns, played on all three Classes - still nothing. The only thing I can think of is that I was the party leader for every game. Now I don't care what Bungie says, their is something in the code stopping certain people from getting these Ghosts. I have more Candy and Shaders than I know what to do with, so I am getting Crimson rewards (just not the Ghosts, and I know I'm not alone). And this free 320 is a cheap fix, as I'd rather have both at 280. So, anyone else who has been denied remember if they were leading their team? Have you seen your team leader get a Ghost while you haven't? Just one more thing to cross off the list.

Unfortunately that does not help me collect 1 of each ghost. Clearly it's person based drop rates as well because it seems it's either you e gotten 4+ or none. Just sucks that I'm stuck in the none area. Maybe people with 50+ games can have 1 of each shell? I'll even forfeit my 320 ghost that I'm supposed to be getting to have 2 200 attack ghosts if it was 1 sugary, 1 Crimson.

2 RepliesFix the Titan melee it's not working properly. You know how you need to hit a guy twice right? Well not with Titan melee 3 punches and sometimes it won't even proc. Please fix this bungie.

1 ReplyFor the crimson doubles event if you have completed 7 matches you will get a 320 ghost on Feb 23.It doesn't matter if you suicide until the match is over as long as you complete 7 matches,even if its after the bungee post saying they will give out 320 ghosts.Playing more games won't guarantee a 320 ghost.It's one 320 ghost per account.So play seven games and wait until Feb 23 to get your ghost.

If a player has already been doing the suicide method to try to get a 320 ghost shell, but they did not start doing so until after they had already completed all of the bounties (legitimately fought in more than 7 matches),... Will they still get a 320 ghost shell? 2. Has the code been revised to stop awarding random ghost shells? 3. (depends on the answer to question #2) If a player has already gotten a couple ghost shells, but none that were 320, and wants to continue to try to get more ghost shells, is there any penalty for using the suicide method to try to do so?

3 RepliesI do appreciate the 320 shell for the dozens and dozens of matches I've played without one dropping. But for a collector like myself, I'd rather have one of EACH, and have them drop at 280. I'm not in it for the max light, I have enough iron shells with a decent light rating to infuse from. Please consider this for an option - you based a game partly around collecting and now there's going to be two items (one really) that we won't see for another year til this kicks in again, if it even does. Maybe even consider having this playlist rotate, and not worry about theming the tower? It's still fun to knock around in, even with the drop rates being bad

I wish that the swords have infinite ammo that uses 20 hits and then needs time to recharge.

2 RepliesHello bungie Yesterday, I decided to buy a Xbox one. After setting everything up and downloading my destiny content from my 360, I noticed the taken king DLC is nowhere to be found. I checked the game manager for all add on content and nothing. All the other content is there and a can play destiny...but I can't play taken King anymore. I also called Microsoft support and they had trouble understanding way that happened. I would like to get a code for the content I already purchased so I can play destiny? I hope to here back soon ty.

7 RepliesSo I've had destiny since year one. I've got all legendary editions,collected everything. yet you force me to spend hours trying to get 2 ghosts for my collection. I've won over 150 matches yet no ghost. it's biggest @#$# take going. I could smash my game into pieces. if your giving a random 320 ghost then add a 310 other one or 309 I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE LIGHT LEVEL I just want both for collection. if I play one more game I will despise bungie. for ever. I swear to God if I miss this event and mess my collection up there's no point even me having game as ur #$## on my hard work over a full year. please add a low light one. so I can have 2 check my history I've done 150 games min on crimson doubles

I have played like 50 matches + I played yesterday 8 matches in a row and I still didn't get a ghost, people told me that you will give 320 ghosts on feb 23 if we don't get on I hope that this is true, because my friend got it on his 6 match and then after something like 10 matches he got the second one.
