So, I just completed the quest with the Castle Armory and firing the artillery, so I got to building the Castle up a lot. After a while, I went to the middle and saw the Minuteman who operated the radio to be standing up behind his chair and saying that the radio needs more power. When I look at the radio, it has a red symbol for the person but green on power. Nothing I do to try to fix it works, including using 30 power at once on it. So then I shot the Minuteman for insubordination and before I knew it, I got demolished by my own settlers. Anyone else getting this glitch, or have any solutions? I'm playing on Xbox One.

I think the same thing happened to me, but what I did was I reloaded and fought the Mirelurk Queen again and it worked. That place is really buggy, and whatever you do, don't leave a suit of power armor in the Castle's area, because the radio guy will get up and take it. Whenever he takes it, his limbs stretch out because he's supposed to be in it and the power armor just disappears out of existence.

I got this glitch a couple mo this ago and I couldn't figure out the fix so I just started a new character.

1 ReplyDid you try assigning a different settler to the radio?

Try attaching a few extra generators and realize there's more than one power attachment to the radio setup. Also there's a power switch too. I had some issues but got it going messing around with these things.

Yeah, I didn't get this glitch specifically, but I did get a few others from finishing the quest. I couldn't assign settlers to jobs, and I still can't pull up the dialogue wheel with Preston anymore; he just stands frozen in one spot. No clue how to fix all of it; if you don't mind reloading progress, I went back to a save before that quest and fixed my settlers issue. Not Preston though. IDK. If reverting saves doesn't help, I'd just say wait for the almighty Patch.
