Interesting implications there; so it would seem that it is true that Rasputin intentionally harmed the traveller in order to prevent it from fleeing.

2 RepliesI wonder why the speaker acts like the traveler stayed to help us when in fact Rasputin crippled it instead and made it stay against its will. How much better are we then the fallen really?
-
2 RepliesPeople shouldn't be so quick to accept this theory. All this says is that rasputin would have done anything including crippling it in order to prevent the traveler from leaving. It doesn't mean that he had to.

1 ReplyIn truth the Traveller is an egomaniac! First he arrived and gave Humans a lot of technology and when the Darkness showed up he tried to flee like a little pussy. So in truth we are like the Fallen because the Traveller has abandoned them too. Makes me think if the Traveller is the bad guy! I mean he has to have known that the Darkness is on his heels so why lead it to Earth and then abandon Humans? TL:DR Rasputin is the man! Crippling that fleeing dumbass was a very good decision.

He also killed humans.

Good guy Rasputin.
