Psion flayer cloaks
Can any one confirm that u get the psion flayer cloaks from the level 20 dust palace select strike and not only from the level 36 or heroic vangaurd play list ?

Could you still get psion flayers even if you don't have rise of iron? I am trying really hard to get one.

3 RepliesCan confirm strike Exclusives do drop from Map Screen selected Strikes, had 2 Does Not Bow, 1 Cloak of Taniks, 1 Tread Upon Stars drop so far. Takes a lot of clears though. Remember, the Flayer you kill last drops the cloak of it's colour.

Strike specific drops can drop from any difficulty, the difficulty does not have influence on the droprates

5 RepliesYou can get strike gear from selecting the strike on the map also. This makes it way easier to farm instead of playing strike playlists.

1 ReplyI've had the cloaks drop both in 35s and the heroics. Have not seen any drop in the 20. I've played the dust place strike only a handful of times and both times i received the hunter cloak with a three of coins active.

Edited by xcrimsonlegendx: 10/5/2015 10:32:05 PMAll of the strike items drop from any version of a strike, I have gotten the Darkblade helm + Fusion rifle, Devouring Maw helmet + Baron's ambition machinegun, Treads on stars + Ma'ul's maulers, Omnigul's bond + the pulse rifle, undying mind titan mark as well as Takin's cloak all from loading the strikes from the map screen.

I haven't seen anyone drop anything from a level 20 one. I got mine from the 36 playlist.

1 ReplyI can confirm that they [b]do[/b] drop just by farming the strike itself on Mars, you [b]do not[/b] need to go into any strike playlist. I got my Cloak of Taniks this way after about 10-15 runs of the level 20 Shadow Thief Strike on the moon, and considering it's a specific drop from the boss encounter themselves, I do not think the drop rate for strike-specific items [b]increases[/b] based on the difficulty level of the strike. Only your total loot earned and chances of legendary engrams earned from a strike are increased as the difficulty increases, but considering the strike specific loot are not in the form of engrams, i don't think it's affected.

I got the SABER strike helm just on normal difficulty. So I expect it's the same for the other exclusives.
