Hey im dkyg im i am apart of the halo 3 community clan UEG which stands for united extreme gaming. We are a wide community of what ive heard 1500 players in halo 3 alone as UEG covers more than one game. Since its so large our community is split into different clans of up to a 100 people. Out individual clan that i am in is UEG ROMEO. In each clan again it is futher split into squads. The different squads availale are MLG, Tactics, Swat, Snipers and Forge. I myself am in the sniper squad and we regulary have practice and also have skimishes with other clans in our community.
We also run annual tournaments internally and externally in the community. Such as a doubles tourney in the clan and the winners go on to play the best in the other clans until there is an overall winner. Quite fun. Not just a doubles tourney but all playlists as well and some of our very own thought up tournaments like the assasin series and the mongoose series.
The assasin series my personal favourite is when you get a message from an activity director (Person in the community in charge of organising major events) of someone in UEG who you have to kill and kill in a certain way. The more people you kill the harder the challenges in killing them become. This is always fun because guys just wont accept a random friends request if they think this persons after them. This competitions have many prizes up for grabs such as T-Shirts, Posters, Money and more memrobilia.
We have our very own website www.ueglive.com which redirects to www.unitedextremegaming.net/forum lol. On herre were code of conduct, forums for every clan where we keep up to date post new threads, chat and organise events and have appointed information officers in each clan to keep the clan roster up to date. A wonderful amazing website to keep the whole of UEG connected.
Also we have a ranking struture that works through our emblems. From bottom to top, theres recruit
private
coporale
sergaent
staff sergaent
master cheif
lieutenant
commander
captain
rear admiral
vice admiral
admiral.
Each rank has different responsibilities and different levels of control. Each captain is in charge of their own clan where the rear admirals govern a few clans with the vice admirals governing them and most clans and with only 3 admirals out of 1500 governing all of the clan neat, hehe. It does take time to rank up and you need to know all the rules of the clan and the recruitment speech for new members of UEG but is all worth i with the respect of being an honarable rank within the clan which we always praise when someone is promoted by a superior. BTW you have to be the rank of lieutenant and up to promote. Also we can quickly tell which rank you are and which division you in by our emblem features which represent the different ranks and the the different colours used which will be different to each clan and then in our name and bio we would mention which clan were in what rank we are and who we were last promoted by. This gives us some organised struture that is easier for the higher ranks to see whos what.
All in all UEG is an amazing community which i have grown to love and i am glad to be apart of. I am wiritng this thread to let people know that we are always welcome for people to join our clan because we are always friendly and ever growing. If anyone were interested please contact me (Gamertag - dkyg) because i would feel greatly to know i am helping a part of my community by helping recruit more members into UEG.
Also if anyone is interested we are always keen on having matches with other communities outside UEG and im hoping you Bungie can help us find other communities out there.
I hope you's all enjoyed reading about UEG, it really is a great clan and has personally been a wonderful experience for me, I hope you's can all share that experience with me.
Thanks bungie for a truely remarkable, inspiration of how much halo has achieved.
