Best public event farming method?
Didn't really know how to word the title sorry, just need to do 29 public events for that emblem thing. Any tips? Areas that I should go to?
I've got the app that gives you timings but it always seems to spawn wolves, and do wolves count as public events?

I like the moon the best because it's so compact. Use destinypublicevents website and get to driving that little moon loop

Patrolling the moon and Cosmodrome are the easiest way to do public events. They happen all the time and the enemies are weak, so there's little risk of failing. For general grinding (weapon parts, etc) I like to go to Skywatch in the Cosmodrome. You can just run around and kill things nonstop.

There are apps and websites that have timers. They aren't 100% accurate but they'll give you a general idea when and where an event will take place.

I like to just patrol the initial area of the moon. Public events are super easy (especially if you time your rockets to hit the ship right as its dropping off a bunch of enemies so that the bodies just fall out of the sky) ANd it's really easy to farm chests there since the dreg mini boss is so easy. Funnily enough, I've only been playing since HoW came out, and my 50 public events were already done when the tracker came out lol.

There are a bunch of public event timer apps you can download on your phone. They are usually late/ early by 5 minutes but it gives you a good idea of where/when to be. My favorite spot is the divide in cosmadrone it is the easiest to solo.

There's a website that has a countdown clock for public events. I usually just run a circle around the moon. Each area is quick to get to and they are timed pretty good.

Earth is good, because there are so many areas that they can spawn, but it's also pretty spread out. I kind of prefer the moon. Three spots, all linked together, low level so I can solo. Wolves don't count, but they do have a tendency to spawn around the same time. Swords of crota used to do the same thing. I loved killing the swordbearer and using the sword to wreck a VIP in the same area.
