Best legendary rocket launcher pvp
What is the best rocket launcher for pvp?
I'm talking about the stats, not the perks, because I want to roll it anyway. I got 200 marks to spend
So what perks should I roll?
Check my hunter for the rl "the fear" what you say?

1 ReplyEdited by PatPharm: 7/2/2015 6:43:03 AMLooking solely at blast radius and velocity, it breaks down like this: 1) Radegast's Fury (iron banner): 96 blast radius, 64 velocity 2) Ash Factory (HOW random crucible drop): 96 blast radius, 57 velocity 3) Dreamwaker (queen's gun, POE chest reward): 91 blast radius, 52 velocity 4) Tomorrow's Answer (trials of osiris): 84 blast radius, 50 velocity 5) Admonisher III (new monarchy): 96 blast radius, 30 velocity 6) The Fear (FWC), Exodus Plan RS/1 (dead orbit): 68 blast radius, 77 velocity Radegast's Fury is unquestionably king of legendary rocket launchers for base stats. Ash Factory is a close second. All of these rockets other than Tomorrow's Answer are re-rollable to get Grenades & Horseshoes (G&H) and either Clown Cartridge for normal crucible and iron banner or Tripod for trials of osiris. For PVP, I think blast radius is more important than velocity. You can correct for a slower shooting rocket or pre-fire but you can't reach that far around corners with G&H if you have poor blast radius. The only real question on this list is whether an Exodus Plan or Fear with heavy payload (increased blast radius) is better than an Admonisher with javelin (increased velocity). I think that's a matter of personal preference and I don't have an answer to that. I would go with the Fear or Exodus Plan because the disparity in velocity is higher than the blast radius. I've heard the argument that blinkers are better able to evade rockets with to a slower velocity, but other factors are involved, mainly awareness. The only situation in which I think it's a valid concern is a very long range rocket that a bladedancer or voidwalker can see or hear coming and blinks out of the way in time.

1 ReplyI got Exodus Plan with Tripod and Tracking from an engram, I was going to reroll for proximity but to be honest the thing is deadly like it is!!

Anything with a high velocity and a high blast radius. You'll want to roll Grenades and Horseshoes and then maybe Tripod. Exodus Plan from DO or The Fear from FWC are fairly similar and have some decent stats on them. Exodus Plan already comes with the above perks, so you won't really have to waste Motes to re-roll it with better perks.

Dream walker with good rolls any rocket can be good with grenades and horseshoes

Ash Factory with Warhead Vernier,Javelin,proximity and Clown Cartridge. Basically maxed velocity and blast radius. No blinking out of that one.

The vendor rocket launchers are pretty trashy this time around, if you're looking solely to buy. Admonisher is probably the best of the bunch.

The best ones are either ash factory or radegasts from what I've seen. With warhead verniers and javelin they have the highest blast radius and velocity

Either tomorrow's answer (ToO) or Exodus Plan (DO). Both come with near max blast radius and velocity, and great perks right off the rack as well.
