New Easter Egg in Halo 3 found?
So whats up with this? never seen it before.
Apparently it says "343, 343, 2147".
The uploader says its not fake but wants us to hunt it down, the comments are not saying its fake either, few actually confirmed it.
So, real or not? and is it newly found? lets find out.

Then you get a video claiming to find an Easter Egg, but not telling you how to get there. AND you have a bunch of people in comments saying they found it too, though this was supposedly never found before, nobody knew of it, and somehow with only 300 views on some random, unknown channel a bunch of people happen to see the video immediately after posted and can confirm that it is real. There is absolutely nothing that looks in any way legitimate about this.

Yeah, no. I know where that area is on The Ark (or atleast I think I do, it looks familiar to a spot) and I have never seen, or heard, any explosions in that area. If this was real it would have been found years ago.

Edited by Hawk: 1/16/2014 4:36:49 PMThe video isin't the easter egg. It's the hint for finding the easter egg. I don't know if Zedd put those numbers in or Bungie, either way those numbers should tell you how to get to the easter egg.

What makes it even more credible is that in the description the person doesn't tell you how to trigger it because that's something for him to know and you to find out. So the video is nothing more than fake bait. Think about it. Why would there be an Easter egg in the game that has 343 being spelt out in the sky? At that time during the making of the game Bungie was still making Halo games. Why would they have 343 as an Easter egg when they still have 2 more games to make? The other thing is that it's done by fusion coils and those plasma things which can be forged. So this was done on some map with him glitching out.

I don't have my 360 atm, so if anyone finds something there please post pics Edit: Actually, watch the slow motion version. I think the coordinates are 343 / 343 / 2343. EDIT: NVM, I talked to Zedd about it, there not coordinates >.>

Instinctively I feel this is fake. The whole setup seems suspicious and if it was real then the video would surely explain how to recreate it. At present its just a bunch of forge items exploding with timers.

1 ReplyThis video is most likely fake, but I do recall that someone from Bungie remarked that there was still an easter egg in Halo 3 yet to be found (I think it was in a weekly update from a couple years ago.)
