Oryx hard cheese already found
So we have proved once again that we always find the easiest way guys.
1. Weaken all four ogres but let them all go to middle
2. Once guy has relic go to top deathsinger platform across from oryx and stun him
3. Finish your ogres and drop into bombs. Because ogres didn't die earlier the knights and add sets don't even spawn until right as you're all 4 dropping in to detonate... Profit.. Easier than normal mode
Not me who came up with it already forget the guy's name but it's on the forums now take a peak he has video

Just got it done, the proper way. It takes time and good communication, but we nailed the coordination after a while. I may suggest this other way though next time, just to get it done quicker.

How would they fix something like this though because if the Knights spawn at the same time as ogres then they have no point leave ogres alive and the Knights have not role. Then if you put poison on top you can do the strat on bottom. It is not a cheese just another way to do something.

5 RepliesDefinitely not a cheese. Nothing about the mechanics suggest that you have to kill the ogres first. Nothing in the mechanics say you have to kill the vessel. This strategy is pretty smart.

If they didn't want you kill the knights after you stagger oryx, they would have shortened the time. When destiny was launched they said they can't wait to see how we play the game. Some of us play smarter than others. That doesn't make it a cheese. Maybe this was the strategy all along they intended and others are doing it the harder way.

People don't understand what a cheese is. Coming up with a different strategy is not a cheese. Also, this method is no better or worse IMO simply because it's just as easy for the ogres to kill you or the Knights when your standing in the blithe or to get knocked down mid air by ogres while jumping up often resulting in death by ogre. I feel the best method is to put 2 good snipers up top (one with bubble) to help kill ogres and knights. Then have the first two platform guys jump up when relic is grabbed (their ogres are dead by this point) so they can help finish the final ogre and knights. Meet up in the middle and dps. This method is also good because the blithes are equal distance. I've done it the way it was intended and this way. It's really about having good players. Both are easy if you have a good team. The challenge is not the raid itself. It's finding a solid team.

This is not a cheese dude. Fix your title before you accidentally bait Bungie into investigating this and patching this for thinking that this is a cheat/cheese when it is simply a really good strategy. Fix it! FIX IT NOW!

2 RepliesThis was how I managed to finish hard mode yesterday. I won't call it a cheese, a cheese was unplugging your cable for Crota or push Atheon from his platform, but this? this is just a very, very good strategy.

Swinging sword across the bridge or getting one across while everyone else wipes or climbs off the map= cheese Unplugging you ethernet cable on Crota=cheese. The strategy in question here is not a cheese.
